his riches will not save him when he perisheth.
ஆகவே அவன் (நரகத்தில்) விழுந்து விட்டால் அவனுடைய பொருள் அவனுக்குப் பலன் அளிக்காது.

his wealth will not avail him when he perishes.
ஆகவே அவன் (நரகத்தில்) விழுந்து விட்டால் அவனுடைய பொருள் அவனுக்குப் பலன் அளிக்காது.

and his money will not avail him when he plummets.
ஆகவே அவன் (நரகத்தில்) விழுந்து விட்டால் அவனுடைய பொருள் அவனுக்குப் பலன் அளிக்காது.

and what will his wealth avail him when he falls?
ஆகவே அவன் (நரகத்தில்) விழுந்து விட்டால் அவனுடைய பொருள் அவனுக்குப் பலன் அளிக்காது.

and his wealth shall be of no avail to him when he perishes.
ஆகவே அவன் (நரகத்தில்) விழுந்து விட்டால் அவனுடைய பொருள் அவனுக்குப் பலன் அளிக்காது.

o believers, obey god and his messenger, and do not turn away from him when you hear (him speak);
முஃமின்களே! நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும் அவனுடைய தூதருக்கும் கீழ்படியுங்கள்; நீங்கள் கேட்டுக் கொண்டிருக்கும் நிலையிலேயே அவரை புறக்கணிக்காதீர்கள்.

but does man not remember that we created him when he was nothing before?
யாதொரு பொருளுமாக இல்லாதிருந்த அவனை நிச்சயமாக நாம் முன்னர் படைத்தோம் என்பதை மனிதன் நினைத்துப் பார்க்க வேண்டாமா?

and what will his wealth benefit him when he goes down (in destruction).
ஆகவே அவன் (நரகத்தில்) விழுந்து விட்டால் அவனுடைய பொருள் அவனுக்குப் பலன் அளிக்காது.

believers, obey allah and his messenger, and do not turn away from him when you are hearing.
முஃமின்களே! நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும் அவனுடைய தூதருக்கும் கீழ்படியுங்கள்; நீங்கள் கேட்டுக் கொண்டிருக்கும் நிலையிலேயே அவரை புறக்கணிக்காதீர்கள்.

a slave (muhammad (peace be upon him)) when he prays?
ஓர் அடியாரை - அவர் தொழும்போது,

and if we make man taste mercy from us, then take it off from him, most surely he is despairing, ungrateful.
நாம் நம்மிடமிருந்து நற்கிருபையை மனிதன் சுவைக்கும்படிச் செய்து, பின்பு அதனை அவனை விட்டும் நாம் நீக்கி விட்டால், நிச்சயமாக அவன் நிராசைப்பட்டு பெரும் நன்றி கெட்டவனாகி விடுகின்றான்.

(firon) said to the chiefs around him: most surely this is a skillful magician,
(ஃபிர்அவ்ன்) தன்னைச் சூழ்ந்து நின்ற தலைவர்களை நோக்கி "இவர் நிச்சயமாக திறமை மிக்க சூனியக்காரரே!" என்று கூறினான்.

by oath of the beloved shining star mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him), when he returned from the ascent.
விழுகின்ற நட்சத்திரத்தின் மீது சத்தியமாக!

do not prostrate before anyone other than him. when the servant of god (muhammad) preached (his message) the jinn would all crowd around him.
"மேலும், நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வின் அடியார் அவனைப் பிரார்த்தித்தவராக நின்றபோது, அவர்பால் அவர்கள் கூட்டம் கூட்டமாக (வந்து) நெருங்கிவிடுகின்றனர்."

and ibrahim asking forgiveness for his sire was only owing to a promise which he had made to him; but when it became clear to him that he was an enemy of allah, he declared himself to be clear of him; most surely ibrahim was very tender-hearted forbearing.
இப்றாஹீம் (நபி) தம் தந்தைக்காக மன்னிப்புக் கோரியதெல்லாம், அவர் தம் தந்தைக்குச் செய்திருந்த ஒரு வாக்குறுதிக்காகவேயன்றி வேறிலலை மெய்யாகவே, அவர் (தந்தை) அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு விரோதி என்பது தெளிவாகியதும் அதிலிருந்து அவர் விலகிக் கொண்டார் - நிச்சயமாக இப்ராஹீம் பொறுமையுடையவராகவும் இரக்கமுள்ளவராகவும் இருந்தார்.

and certainly we gave musa nine clear signs; so ask the children of israel. when he came to them, firon said to him: most surely i deem you, o musa, to be a man deprived of reason.
நிச்சயமாக நாம் மூஸாவுக்குத் தெளிவான ஒன்பது அத்தாட்சிகளை கொடுத்திருந்தோம்; அவர் அவர்களிடம் (அவற்றைக் கொண்டு) வந்தபோது (என்ன நடந்தது என்று) பனீ இஸ்ராயீல்களிடம் (நபியே!) நீர் கேளும். ஃபிர்அவ்ன் அவரை நோக்கி 'மூஸாவே! நிச்சயமாக நான் உம்மை சூனியம் செய்யப்பட்டவராகவே எண்ணுகிறேன்' என்று கூறினான்.

and why should i fear those you associate with him when you fear not associating others with god for which he has sent down no sanction? tell me, whose way is the way of peace, if you have the knowledge?
உங்களுக்கு அவன் எந்த அத்தாட்சியும் இறக்கி வைக்காமலிருக்கும்போது நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு இணைவைப்பது பற்றி பயப்படவில்லை - அப்படியிருக்க நீங்கள் (அவனுக்கு) இணைவைப்பவற்றுக்கு நான் எப்படி பயப்படுவேன்? நம் இருபிரிவினரில் அச்சமின்றி இருக்கத்தகுதி உடையவர் யார்? நீங்கள் அறிந்தவர்களாக இருந்தால், (கூறுங்கள் எனவும் கேட்டார்)
