who has not given birth, and has not been born,
அவன் (எவரையும்) பெறவுமில்லை (எவராலும்) பெறப்படவுமில்லை.

had we not given you stability, you might have inclined towards them a little.
மேலும், நாம் உம்மை (ஹக்கான பாதையில்) உறுதிப்படுத்தி வைத்திருக்க வில்லையெனின் நீர் கொஞ்சம் அவர்கள் பக்கம் சாய்ந்து போயிருத்தல் கூடும்.

so the heavens and the earth did not weep for them, and they were not given respite.
ஆகவே, அவர்களுக்காக வானமும் பூமியும் அழவுமில்லை (தப்பித்துக் கொள்ள) அவகாசமும் கொடுக்கப்பட்டவர்களாகவும் அவர்களில்லை.

and had we not given thee strength, thou wouldst nearly have inclined to them a little.
மேலும், நாம் உம்மை (ஹக்கான பாதையில்) உறுதிப்படுத்தி வைத்திருக்க வில்லையெனின் நீர் கொஞ்சம் அவர்கள் பக்கம் சாய்ந்து போயிருத்தல் கூடும்.

we have not given them any books to study, nor have we sent them before thee any warner.
எனினும் (இதற்கு முன்) நாம் இவர்களுக்கு இவர்கள் ஓதக்கூடிய வேதங்கள் எதையும் கொடுக்கவில்லை உமக்கு முன்னர், நாம் இவர்களிடம் அச்சமூட்டி செய்பவரையும் அனுப்பவில்லை.

and we have not given them any books which they read, nor did we send to them before you a warner.
எனினும் (இதற்கு முன்) நாம் இவர்களுக்கு இவர்கள் ஓதக்கூடிய வேதங்கள் எதையும் கொடுக்கவில்லை உமக்கு முன்னர், நாம் இவர்களிடம் அச்சமூட்டி செய்பவரையும் அனுப்பவில்லை.

but we had not given them books which they could study, nor sent messengers to them before thee as warners.
எனினும் (இதற்கு முன்) நாம் இவர்களுக்கு இவர்கள் ஓதக்கூடிய வேதங்கள் எதையும் கொடுக்கவில்லை உமக்கு முன்னர், நாம் இவர்களிடம் அச்சமூட்டி செய்பவரையும் அனுப்பவில்லை.

and whoever is given his book in his left hand – he will say, “alas, if only my account were not given to me!”
ஆனால் எவனுடைய பட்டோலை அவனுடைய இடக்கையில் கொடுக்கப்படுமோ அவன் கூறுவான்; "என்னுடைய பட்டோலை எனக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படாமல் இருந்திருக்க வேண்டுமே!

"zachariah, we bring you good news of a son whose name shall be john. we have not given such a name to anyone before."
"ஜகரிய்யாவே! யஹ்யா என்ற பெயர் கொண்ட ஒரு புதல்வனை(த் தருவது) பற்றி நிச்சயமாக நாம் உமக்கு நற்செய்தி கூறுகிறோம். இதற்கு முன்னர் இப்பெயர் கொண்டவரை நாம் ஆக்கவில்லை" (என்று இறைவன் கூறினான்).

but your lord does not destroy habitations without having sent an apostle to their metropolis to read out our commandments to them. we would never have destroyed cities if their inhabitants were not given to wickedness.
(நபியே!) நம் வசனங்களை அவர்களுக்கு ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கும் தூதர் ஒருவரை அவர்களுடைய தலைநகருக்கு அனுப்பி வைக்காத வரையில் எந்த ஊர்களையும் உம்முடைய இறைவன் அழிப்பவனாக இல்லை மேலும், எந்த ஊரையும் அதன் மக்கள் அக்கிரமக் காரர்களாக இல்லாத வரையில் நாம் அழிப்போராகவும் இல்லை.

and of them are some who traduce thee in respect of alms. then if they are given thereof they are pleased and if they are not given thereof, lo! they are enraged.
(நபியே!) தானங்கள் விஷயத்தில் (பாரபட்சம் உடையவர்) என்று உம்மைக் குறை கூறுபவரும் அவர்களில் இருக்கிறார்கள்; ஆனால் அவற்றிலிருந்து அவர்களுக்கும் ஒரு பங்கு கொடுக்கப்பட்டால் திருப்தியடைகின்றார்கள் - அப்படி அவற்றிலிருந்து கொடுக்கப்படவில்லையானால், அவர்கள் ஆத்திரம் கொள்கிறார்கள்.

and among them are those who criticize you in regard to charities. if they are given some of it, they become pleased; but if they are not given any, they grow resentful.
(நபியே!) தானங்கள் விஷயத்தில் (பாரபட்சம் உடையவர்) என்று உம்மைக் குறை கூறுபவரும் அவர்களில் இருக்கிறார்கள்; ஆனால் அவற்றிலிருந்து அவர்களுக்கும் ஒரு பங்கு கொடுக்கப்பட்டால் திருப்தியடைகின்றார்கள் - அப்படி அவற்றிலிருந்து கொடுக்கப்படவில்லையானால், அவர்கள் ஆத்திரம் கொள்கிறார்கள்.

and we had not given them scriptures which they could study, nor sent to them before you (o muhammad saw) any warner (messenger).
எனினும் (இதற்கு முன்) நாம் இவர்களுக்கு இவர்கள் ஓதக்கூடிய வேதங்கள் எதையும் கொடுக்கவில்லை உமக்கு முன்னர், நாம் இவர்களிடம் அச்சமூட்டி செய்பவரையும் அனுப்பவில்லை.

and of them there are those who blame you with respect to the alms; so if they are given from it they are pleased, and if they are not given from it, lo! they are full of rage.
(நபியே!) தானங்கள் விஷயத்தில் (பாரபட்சம் உடையவர்) என்று உம்மைக் குறை கூறுபவரும் அவர்களில் இருக்கிறார்கள்; ஆனால் அவற்றிலிருந்து அவர்களுக்கும் ஒரு பங்கு கொடுக்கப்பட்டால் திருப்தியடைகின்றார்கள் - அப்படி அவற்றிலிருந்து கொடுக்கப்படவில்லையானால், அவர்கள் ஆத்திரம் கொள்கிறார்கள்.

and we had indeed given them the means which we have not given you, and made ears and eyes and hearts for them; so their ears and eyes and hearts did not benefit them at all because they used to deny the signs of allah, and the punishment they used to mock at encompassed them.
உங்களுக்கு (மக்காவாசிகளுக்கு) இங்கு எதில் வசதிகள் செய்து கொடுக்காதிருந்தோமோ அவ்வசதிகளையெல்லாம் நாம் அவர்களுக்குத் திடமாகச் செய்து கொடுத்திருந்தோம். மேலும் அவர்களுக்கும் செவிப் புலனையும் பார்வைகளையும் இருதயங்களையும் நாம் கொடுத்திருந்தோம்; ஆயினும் அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் வசனங்களை நிராகரித்துக் கொண்டிருந்த போது, அவர்களுடைய செவிப் புலனும், பார்வைகளும் இருதயங்களும் அவர்களுக்கு யாதோர் பயனுமளிக்கவில்லை - எ(வ்வே)தனைப் பற்றி அவர்கள் பரிகாசம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தார்களோ, அதுவே அவர்களைச் சூழ்ந்து கொண்டது.

and among them are some who criticize you concerning the [distribution of] charities. if they are given from them, they approve; but if they are not given from them, at once they become angry.
(நபியே!) தானங்கள் விஷயத்தில் (பாரபட்சம் உடையவர்) என்று உம்மைக் குறை கூறுபவரும் அவர்களில் இருக்கிறார்கள்; ஆனால் அவற்றிலிருந்து அவர்களுக்கும் ஒரு பங்கு கொடுக்கப்பட்டால் திருப்தியடைகின்றார்கள் - அப்படி அவற்றிலிருந்து கொடுக்கப்படவில்லையானால், அவர்கள் ஆத்திரம் கொள்கிறார்கள்.
