நிச்சயமாக நாம் நூஹை, அவருடைய சமூகத்தாரிடம்; "நீர் உம் சமூகத்தாருக்கு நோவினை செய்யும் வேதனை அவர்கள் மீது வருவதற்கு முன்னர் (அதுபற்றி) அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிக்கை செய்வீராக" என (ரஸூலாக) அனுப்பினோம்.

and will not say that the book was revealed only to two groups of people before you, or that you were ignorant of its knowledge,
நமக்கு முன் இரு கூட்டத்தினர் மீது மட்டுமே வேதம் இறக்கப்பட்டது - ஆகவே நாங்கள் அதனைப் படிக்கவும் கேட்கவும் முடியாமல் பராமுகமாகி விட்டோம் என்று நீங்கள் கூறாதிருக்கவும்;

ஈமான் கொண்டோர்களே! உங்களுக்கு முன் இருந்தவர்கள் மீது நோன்பு விதிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது போல் உங்கள் மீதும்(அது) விதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது (அதன் மூலம்) நீங்கள் தூய்மையுடையோர் ஆகலாம்.

நிச்சயமாக நாம் நூஹை, அவருடைய சமூகத்தாரிடம்; "நீர் உம் சமூகத்தாருக்கு நோவினை செய்யும் வேதனை அவர்கள் மீது வருவதற்கு முன்னர் (அதுபற்றி) அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிக்கை செய்வீராக" என (ரஸூலாக) அனுப்பினோம்.

we sent noah forth to his people, saying, "warn your people before there comes upon them a grievous punishment."
நிச்சயமாக நாம் நூஹை, அவருடைய சமூகத்தாரிடம்; "நீர் உம் சமூகத்தாருக்கு நோவினை செய்யும் வேதனை அவர்கள் மீது வருவதற்கு முன்னர் (அதுபற்றி) அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிக்கை செய்வீராக" என (ரஸூலாக) அனுப்பினோம்.

remember the time when we parted the sea to make way for you and let you pass safely through it and then drowned pharaoh's people before your very eyes.

நமக்கு முன் இரு கூட்டத்தினர் மீது மட்டுமே வேதம் இறக்கப்பட்டது - ஆகவே நாங்கள் அதனைப் படிக்கவும் கேட்கவும் முடியாமல் பராமுகமாகி விட்டோம் என்று நீங்கள் கூறாதிருக்கவும்;
