and whose religion is better than one who submits his self to allah and is virtuous and follows the religion of ibrahim, who was far removed from all falsehood? and allah made ibrahim his close friend.
மேலும், எவர் நன்மை செய்யக்கூடிய நிலையில் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு முற்றிலும் வழிபட்டு, இப்றாஹீமுடைய தூய மார்க்கத்தையும் பின் பற்றுகிறாரோ, அவரைவிட அழகிய மார்க்கத்தை உடையவர் யார்? இன்னும் அல்லாஹ் இப்றாஹீமை தன் மெய்யன்பராக எடுத்துக் கொண்டான்.

is then one who is on a clear (path) from his lord, no better than one to whom the evil of his conduct seems pleasing, and such as follow their own lusts?
எனவே எவர் தம் இறைவனின் தெளிவான பாதையில் இருக்கிறாரோ அவர் எவனுடைய செயலின் தீமை அவனுக்கு அழகாக் காண்பிக்கப் பட்டுள்தோ, இன்னும், எவர்கள் தம் மனோ இச்சைகளைப் பின்பற்றுகின்றார்களோ அத்தகையோருக்கு ஒப்பாவாரா?

are they the ones who dispense the favour of your lord? it is he who apportions the means of livelihood among them in this world, and raises some in position over the others to make some others submissive. the favours of your lord are better than what they amass.
உமது இறைவனின் ரஹ்மத்தை (நல்லருளை) இவர்களா பங்கிடுகிறார்களா? இவர்களுடைய உலகத் தேவைகளை இவர்களிடையோ நாமே பங்கிட்டு இருக்கிறோம்." இவர்களில் சிலர், சிலரை ஊழயத்திற்கு வைத்துக் கொள்ளும் பொருட்டு, இவர்களில் சிலரை, சிலரைவிட தரங்களில் நாம் உயர்த்தி இருக்கிறோம்; உம்முடைய இறைவனின் ரஹ்மத்து அவர்கள் சேகரித்து வைத்துக் கொண்டிருப்பதை விட மேலானதாகும்.

kind words and forgiving of faults are better than sadaqah (charity) followed by injury. and allah is rich (free of all wants) and he is most-forbearing.

believers, let not a group of you mock another. perhaps they are better than you. let not women mock each other; perhaps one is better than the other. let not one of you find faults in another nor let anyone of you defame another. how terrible is the defamation after having true faith. those who do not repent are certainly unjust.
முஃமின்களே! ஒரு சமூகத்தார் பிறியதொரு சமூகத்தாரைப் பரிகாசம் செய்ய வேண்டாம். ஏனெனில் (பரிகசிக்கப்படுவோர்), அவர்களைவிட மேலானவர்களாக இருக்கலாம்; (அவ்வாறே) எந்தப் பெண்களும், மற்றெந்தப் பெண்களையும் (பரிகாசம் செய்ய வேண்டாம்) - ஏனெனில் இவர்கள் அவர்களை விட மேலானவர்களாக இருக்கலாம்; இன்னும், உங்களில் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் பழித்துக் கொள்ளாதீர்கள், இன்னும் (உங்களில்) ஒருவரையொருவர் (தீய) பட்டப்பெயர்களால் அழைக்காதீர்கள்; ஈமான் கொண்டபின் (அவ்வாறு தீய) பட்டப் பெயர் சூட்டுவது மிகக் கெட்டதாகும்; எவர்கள் (இவற்றிலிருந்து) மீளவில்லையோ, அத்தகையவர்கள் அநியாயக்காரர்கள் ஆவார்கள்.

believers, let not a group (of men) scoff at another group, it may well be that the latter (at whom they scoff) are better than they; nor let a group of women scoff at another group, it may well be that the latter are better than they. and do not taunt one another, nor revile one another by nicknames. it is an evil thing to gain notoriety for ungodliness after belief. those who do not repent are indeed the wrong-doers.
