ஆயினும், அப்பெண்களைத் தீண்டுவதற்கு முன் - ஆனால் மஹர் நிச்சயித்த பின் நீங்கள் தலாக் சொல்வீர்களாயின், நீங்கள் குறிப்பட்டிருந்த மஹர் தொகையில் பாதி(அவர்களுக்கு) உண்டு- அப்பெண்களோ அல்லது எவர் கையில் (அத்)திருமணம் பற்றிய பிடி இருக்கறதோ அவர்களோ முழுமையும்) மன்னித்து விட்டாலன்றி; - ஆனால், (இவ்விஷயத்தில்) விட்டுக் கொடுப்பது தக்வாவுக்கு (பயபக்திக்கு) மிக்க நெருக்கமானதாகும்; இன்னும், உங்களுக்கிடையே (ஒருவருக்கொருவர்) உபகாரம் செய்து கொள்வதையும் மறவாதீர்கள் - நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் நீங்கள் செய்வதை பார்(த்துக் கூலி கொடு)ப்பவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.
