do not be like those who said that they have heard (the messenger's commands) but do not pay any attention to them.

may it not be that if you were to wield authority you would cause corruption in the land and ill-treat your blood relations?
(போருக்கு வராது) நீங்கள் பின் வாங்குவீர்களாயின், நீங்கள் பூமியில் குழப்பம் உண்டாக்கி உங்கள் சுற்றத்தாரை (அவர்களுடன் கலந்து உறவாடுவதிலிருந்தும்) துண்டித்து விடுவும் முனைவீர்களோ?

so be patient with the judgement of your lord and do not be like the companion of the whale (jonah), when he called out choking inwardly.

and do not be like those who separated and disputed after the clear proofs came to them; for them is a great punishment.
(இறைவனின்) தெளிவான ஆதாரங்கள் தங்களிடம் வந்த பின்னரும், யார் தங்களுக்குள் பிரிவையுண்டுபண்ணிக் கொண்டு, மாறுபாடாகி விட்டார்களோ, அவர்கள் போன்று நீங்களும் ஆகிவிடாதீர்கள்;. அத்ததையோருக்குக் கடுமையான வேதனை உண்டு.

and do not be like the ones who became divided and differed after the clear proofs had come to them. and those will have a great punishment.
(இறைவனின்) தெளிவான ஆதாரங்கள் தங்களிடம் வந்த பின்னரும், யார் தங்களுக்குள் பிரிவையுண்டுபண்ணிக் கொண்டு, மாறுபாடாகி விட்டார்களோ, அவர்கள் போன்று நீங்களும் ஆகிவிடாதீர்கள்;. அத்ததையோருக்குக் கடுமையான வேதனை உண்டு.

and do not be like those who became divided and disputed after the clear signs had come to them; and for them is a terrible punishment.
(இறைவனின்) தெளிவான ஆதாரங்கள் தங்களிடம் வந்த பின்னரும், யார் தங்களுக்குள் பிரிவையுண்டுபண்ணிக் கொண்டு, மாறுபாடாகி விட்டார்களோ, அவர்கள் போன்று நீங்களும் ஆகிவிடாதீர்கள்;. அத்ததையோருக்குக் கடுமையான வேதனை உண்டு.

and so it sailed with them amidst waves like hills. and noah called to his son, who had kept away, “on my son! embark with us, and do not be with the disbelievers.”

believers, when you hold a secret counsel, let it not be for a sinful, hostile purpose or to disobey the messenger, but let your counsel take place for virtuous and pious reasons. have fear of god in whose presence you will all be brought together.
ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களே! நீங்கள் இரகசியம் பேசிக் கொண்டால், பாவத்தையும் வரம்பு மீறுதலையும், (நம்) தூதருக்கு மாறு செய்வதையும் கொண்டு இரகசியம் பேசாதீர்கள், ஆனால் நன்மை செய்வதற்காகவும் பயபக்தியுடன் இருப்பதற்காகவும் இரகசியம் பேசிக் கொள்ளுங்கள்; மேலும், அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு - எவன்பால் நீங்கள் ஒன்று சேர்க்கப்படுவீர்களோ - அவனுக்கே அஞ்சி நடந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.
