this is so for god is the friend of those who believe while the unbelievers have no friend.
இது ஏனெனில்; அல்லாஹ் ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களுக்கு பாது காவலனாக இருக்கிறான்; அன்றியும் காஃபிர்களுக்குப் பாதுகாவலர் எவரும் இல்லை என்பதனால்தான்.

they can be of no avail to you against god. the wrongdoers are friends of one another, while the friend of the righteous is god.
நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு எதிராக உமக்கு யாதோர் உதவியும் செய்து விட முடியாது. இன்னும் நிச்சயமாக அநியாயக்காரர்களில் சிலர் சிலருக்குப் பாதுகாவலர்களாக இருக்கிறார்கள்; ஆனால் பயபக்தியுடையவர்களுக்கு அல்லாஹ்வே பாதுகாவலன்.

surely they will not avail thee aught against god. surely the evildoers are friends one of the other; god is the friend of the godfearing.
நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு எதிராக உமக்கு யாதோர் உதவியும் செய்து விட முடியாது. இன்னும் நிச்சயமாக அநியாயக்காரர்களில் சிலர் சிலருக்குப் பாதுகாவலர்களாக இருக்கிறார்கள்; ஆனால் பயபக்தியுடையவர்களுக்கு அல்லாஹ்வே பாதுகாவலன்.

indeed they cannot benefit you at all against allah; and indeed the unjust are the friends of each other; and allah is the friend of the pious.
நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு எதிராக உமக்கு யாதோர் உதவியும் செய்து விட முடியாது. இன்னும் நிச்சயமாக அநியாயக்காரர்களில் சிலர் சிலருக்குப் பாதுகாவலர்களாக இருக்கிறார்கள்; ஆனால் பயபக்தியுடையவர்களுக்கு அல்லாஹ்வே பாதுகாவலன்.

one who obeys god and the messenger is the friend of the prophets, saints, martyrs, and the righteous ones to whom god has granted his favors. they are the best friends that one can have.
யார் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும் (அவன்) தூதருக்கும் கீழ்படிந்து நடக்கிறார்களோ அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் அருளைப்பெற்ற நபிமார்கள், ஸித்தீகீன்கள் (சத்தியவான்கள்) ஷுஹதாக்கள் (உயிர்த்தியாகிகள்) ஸாலிஹீன்கள் (நற்கருமங்களுடையவர்கள்) ஆகியவர்களுடன் இருப்பார்கள் - இவர்கள் தாம் மிக்க அழகான தோழர்கள் ஆவார்கள்.

now surely the friends of allah-- they shall have no fear nor shall they grieve.
(முஃமின்களே!) அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்; நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வின் நேயர்களுக்கு எவ்வித அச்சமும் இல்லை; அவர்கள் துக்கப்படவும் மாட்டார்கள்.

oh, surely the friends of allah have nothing to fear, nor shall they grieve -
(முஃமின்களே!) அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்; நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வின் நேயர்களுக்கு எவ்வித அச்சமும் இல்லை; அவர்கள் துக்கப்படவும் மாட்டார்கள்.

god is the friend of those who believe, and leads them out of darkness into light; but the patrons of infidels are idols and devils who lead them from light into darkness. they are the residents of hell, and will there for ever abide.
அல்லாஹ்வே நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவர்களின் பாதுகாவலன் (ஆவான்) அவன் அவர்களை இருள்களிலிருந்து வெளிச்சத்தின் பக்கம் கொண்டு வருகின்றான்;. ஆனால் நிராகரிப்பவர்களுக்கோ - (வழி கெடுக்கும்) ஷைத்தான்கள் தாம் அவர்களின் பாது காவலர்கள்;. அவை அவர்களை வெளிச்சத்திலிருந்து இருள்களின் பக்கம் கொண்டு வருகின்றன. அவர்களே நரகவாசிகள்; அவர்கள் அதில் என்றென்றும் இருப்பர்.

behold! verily on the friends of allah there is no fear, nor shall they grieve;
(முஃமின்களே!) அறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்; நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வின் நேயர்களுக்கு எவ்வித அச்சமும் இல்லை; அவர்கள் துக்கப்படவும் மாட்டார்கள்.

the believers fight for the cause of god. the unbelievers fight for the cause of the satan. so fight against the friends of satan for the evil plans of satan are certainly weak.
நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையில் போர் செய்கிறார்கள்;. நிராகரிப்பவர்கள் ஷைத்தானின் பாதையில் போர் செய்கிறார்கள்;. ஆகவே (முஃமின்களாகிய) நீங்கள் ஷைத்தானின் நண்பர்களுக்கு எதிராகப் போர் புரியுங்கள் - நிச்சயமாக ஷைத்தானின் சூழ்ச்சி பலஹீனமானதேயாகும்.

and (also) those who spend of their substance to be seen of men, and believe not in allah and the last day [they are the friends of shaitan (satan)], and whoever takes shaitan (satan) as an intimate; then what a dreadful intimate he has!
இன்னும், எவர்கள் மற்ற மனிதர்களுக்குக் காட்டுவதற்காகத் தங்கள் பொருட்களைச் செலவு செய்வதுடன், அல்லாஹ்வையும் இறுதி நாளையும் நம்பாதிருக்கின்றனரோ (அவர்களுக்கு ஷைத்தான் கூட்டாளியாவான்). எவனுக்கு ஷைத்தான் கூட்டாளியாக இருக்கின்றானோ, அவன் கூட்டாளிகளிலெல்லாம் மிகத் தீயவன் (என்பதை அறியவேண்டாமா?)
