and allah has said, "do not take for yourselves two deities. he is but one god, so fear only me."
இன்னும், அல்லாஹ் கூறுகின்றான்; இரண்டு தெய்வங்களை ஏற்படுத்திக்கொள்ளாதீர்கள்; நிச்சயமாக (வணக்கத்திற்குரிய) அவன் ஒரே நாயன்தான்! என்னையே நீங்கள் அஞ்சங்கள்.

beholdest thou not those who take for friends a people with whom allah is angered? they are neither of you nor of them, and they swear to a lie while they know.
எந்த சமூகத்தார் மீது அல்லாஹ் கோபம் கொண்டானோ, அவர்களுடன் சிநேகிக்கிறவர்களை (நபியே!) நீர் கவனித்தீரா? அவர்கள் உங்களில் உள்ளவர்களும் அல்லர், அவர்களில் உள்ளவர்களும் அல்லர். அவர்கள் அறிந்து கொண்டே (உங்களுடன் இருப்பதாகப்) பொய்ச் சத்தியம் செய்கின்றனர்.

and we revealed to musa and his brother, saying: take for your people houses to abide in egypt and make your houses places of worship and keep up prayer and give good news to the believers.

believers! do not take for your allies those who make a mockery and sport of your faith, be they those given the book before you or other unbelievers. fear allah if you indeed believe.
முஃமின்களே! உங்களுக்குமுன் வேதம் வழங்கப்பட்டவர்களிலிருந்தும், காஃபிர்களிலிருந்தும், யார் உங்கள் மார்க்கத்தைப் பரிகாசமாகவும், விளையாட்டாகவும் எடுத்துக் கொள்கிறார்களோ அவர்களை நீங்கள் பாதுபாவலர்களாக ஆக்கிக் கொள்ளாதீர்கள்;. நீங்கள் முஃமின்களாக இருந்தால் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே அஞ்சி நடந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்.

yea, to those who take for friends unbelievers rather than believers: is it honour they seek among them? nay,- all honour is with allah.
இவர்கள் முஃமின்களை விட்டும் காஃபிர்களை (தங்களுக்குரிய) உற்ற நண்பர்களாக எடுத்துக்கொள்கிறார்கள். என்ன! அவர்களிடையே இவர்கள் கண்ணியத்தை தேடுகிறார்களா? நிச்சயமாக கண்ணியமெல்லாம் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரியது.

and your lord inspired to the bee, "take for yourself among the mountains, houses, and among the trees and [in] that which they construct.
உம் இறைவன் தேனீக்கு அதன் உள்ளுணர்வை அளித்தான். "நீ மலைகளிலும், மரங்களிலும், உயர்ந்த கட்டடங்களிலும் கூடுகளை அமைத்துக்கொள் (என்றும்),

and of mankind are some who take (for worship) others besides allah as rivals (to allah). they love them as they love allah. but those who believe, love allah more (than anything else). if only, those who do wrong could see, when they will see the torment, that all power belongs to allah and that allah is severe in punishment.
அல்லாஹ் அல்லாதவர்களை அவனுக்கு இணையாக வைத்துக் கொண்டு, அவர்களை அல்லாஹ்வை நேசிப்பதற்கொப்ப நேசிப்போரும் மனிதர்களில் இருக்கிறார்கள்;. ஆனால் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வை நேசிப்பதில் உறுதியான நிலையுள்ளவர்கள்; இன்னும் (இணை வைக்கும்) அக்கிரமக்காரர்களுக்குப் பார்க்க முடியுமானால், (அல்லாஹ் தரவிருக்கும்) வேதனை எப்படியிருக்கும் என்பதைக் கண்டு கொள்வார்கள்;. அனைத்து வல்லமையும் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே சொந்தமானது. நிச்சயமாக தண்டனை கொடுப்பதில் அல்லாஹ் மிகவும் கடுமையானவன் (என்பதையும் கண்டு கொள்வார்கள்).
