when the two angels meet together, sitting one on the right, and one on the left,

when the two receiving angels receive from him, one seated on the right and one on the left.

அல்லாஹ் படைத்திருக்கும் பொருட்களில் அவர்கள் எதையுமே (உற்றுப்) பார்க்கவில்லையா? அவற்றின் நிழல்கள் வலமும், இடதுமாக (ஸுஜூது செய்தவையாகச்) சாய்கின்றன மேலும் அவை பணிந்து (கீழ்படிதலுடன் இவ்வாறு) அல்லாஹ் வழிபடுகின்றன.

have they not observed the things which allah hath created? shadows thereof turn themselves on the right and on the left. prostrating themselves unto allah, and they are lowly.
அல்லாஹ் படைத்திருக்கும் பொருட்களில் அவர்கள் எதையுமே (உற்றுப்) பார்க்கவில்லையா? அவற்றின் நிழல்கள் வலமும், இடதுமாக (ஸுஜூது செய்தவையாகச்) சாய்கின்றன மேலும் அவை பணிந்து (கீழ்படிதலுடன் இவ்வாறு) அல்லாஹ் வழிபடுகின்றன.

and i shall come upon them from the front and behind, right and left; and you will not find among them many who would give thanks."
"பின் நிச்சயமாக நான் அவர்கள் முன்னும், அவர்கள் பின்னும், அவர்கள் வலப்பக்கத்திலும், அவர்கள் இடப்பக்கத்திலும் வந்து (அவர்களை வழி கெடுத்துக்) கொண்டிருப்பேன்; ஆதலால் நீ அவர்களில் பெரும்பாலோரை (உனக்கு) நன்றி செலுத்துவோர்களாகக் காணமாட்டாய்" (என்றும் கூறினான்).

do they not see how every thing allah created casts its shadow right and left, prostrating itself before allah in all humility?
அல்லாஹ் படைத்திருக்கும் பொருட்களில் அவர்கள் எதையுமே (உற்றுப்) பார்க்கவில்லையா? அவற்றின் நிழல்கள் வலமும், இடதுமாக (ஸுஜூது செய்தவையாகச்) சாய்கின்றன மேலும் அவை பணிந்து (கீழ்படிதலுடன் இவ்வாறு) அல்லாஹ் வழிபடுகின்றன.

certainly there was a sign for saba in their abode; two gardens on the right and the left; eat of the sustenance of your lord and give thanks to him: a good land and a forgiving lord!
நிச்சயமாக ஸபா நாட்டினருக்கு, அவர்கள் வசித்திருந்த இடங்களில் ஓர் அத்தாட்சி இருந்தது. (அதன்) வலப்புறத்திலும் இடப்புறத்திலும் இரண்டு சோலைகள் இருந்தன "உங்கள் இறைவன் அளித்துள்ள ஆகாரத்திலிருந்து புசியுங்கள்; அவனுக்கு நன்றியும் செலுத்தி வாருங்கள். (அது மணமுள்ள) வளமான நகரம்; இன்னும் (அவன்) மன்னிப்பளிக்கும் இறைவன்" (என்று அவர்களுக்குக் கூறப்பட்டது).

behold, two (guardian angels) appointed to learn (his doings) learn (and noted them), one sitting on the right and one on the left.
(மனிதனின்) வலப்புறத்திலும், இடப்புறத்திலும் அமர்ந்து எடுத்தெழுதும் இரு(வான)வர் எடுத்தெழுதும் போது-

do they not consider every thing that allah has created? its (very) shadows return from right and left, making obeisance to allah while they are in utter abasement.
அல்லாஹ் படைத்திருக்கும் பொருட்களில் அவர்கள் எதையுமே (உற்றுப்) பார்க்கவில்லையா? அவற்றின் நிழல்கள் வலமும், இடதுமாக (ஸுஜூது செய்தவையாகச்) சாய்கின்றன மேலும் அவை பணிந்து (கீழ்படிதலுடன் இவ்வாறு) அல்லாஹ் வழிபடுகின்றன.

and thou wouldst have deemed them waking though they were asleep, and we caused them to turn over to the right and the left, and their dog stretching out his paws on the threshold. if thou hadst observed them closely thou hadst assuredly turned away from them in flight, and hadst been filled with awe of them.
மேலும், அவர்கள் தூங்கிக் கொண்டிருந்தபோதிலும், நீர் அவர்களை விழித்துக் கொண்டிருப்பவர்களாகவே எண்ணுவீர்; அவர்களை நாம் வலப்புறமும் இடப்புறமுமாக புரட்டுகிறோம்; தவிர, அவர்களுடைய நாய் தன் இரு முன்னங்கால்களையும் வாசற்படியில் விரித்(துப் படுத்)திருக்கிறது அவர்களை நீர் உற்றுப்பார்த்தால், அவர்களை விட்டும் வெருண்டு ஓடிப் பின்வாங்குவீர்; அவர்களில் நின்றும் உண்டாகும் பயத்தைக் கொண்டு நிரம்பிவிடுவீர்,

you may have thought that they were awake, yet they were asleep. we made them turn right and left, while their dog lay with his forelegs stretched across the threshold. if you had looked at them you would have surely turned away and fled with horror at the sight.
மேலும், அவர்கள் தூங்கிக் கொண்டிருந்தபோதிலும், நீர் அவர்களை விழித்துக் கொண்டிருப்பவர்களாகவே எண்ணுவீர்; அவர்களை நாம் வலப்புறமும் இடப்புறமுமாக புரட்டுகிறோம்; தவிர, அவர்களுடைய நாய் தன் இரு முன்னங்கால்களையும் வாசற்படியில் விரித்(துப் படுத்)திருக்கிறது அவர்களை நீர் உற்றுப்பார்த்தால், அவர்களை விட்டும் வெருண்டு ஓடிப் பின்வாங்குவீர்; அவர்களில் நின்றும் உண்டாகும் பயத்தைக் கொண்டு நிரம்பிவிடுவீர்,

and on the day when those who disbelieve are exposed to the fire (it will be said): ye squandered your good things in the life of the world and sought comfort therein. now this day ye are rewarded with the doom of ignominy because ye were disdainful in the land without a right, and because ye used to transgress.
அன்றியும் (நரக) நெருப்பின் முன் நிராகரிப்பவர்கள் கொண்டுவரப்படும் நாளில், "உங்கள் உலக வாழ்க்கையின் போது உங்களுக்குக் கிடைத்திருந்த மணமான பொருட்களையெல்லாம், வீண் செலவு செய்து, (உலக) இன்பம் தேடினீர்கள், "ஆகவே நீங்கள் பூமியில் அநியாயமாகப் பெருமையடித்துக் கொண்டும், வரம்பு மீறி (வாழ்ந்து) கொண்டும் இருந்த காரணத்தால், இழிவு தரும் வேதனையை இன்று நீங்கள் கூலியாகக் கொடுக்கப்படுகிறீர்கள்" (என்று அவர்களுக்குக் கூறப்படும்).
