இவ்வாறே உமக்கு முன்னரும் நாம் (நம்முடைய) தூதரை எந்த ஊருக்கு அனுப்பினாலும், அவர்களில் செல்வந்தர்கள்; "நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் எங்கள் மூதாதையரை ஒரு மார்க்கத்தில் கண்டோம்; நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் அவர்களின் அடிச்சவடுகளையே பின்பற்றுகின்றோம்" என்று கூறாதிருக்கவில்லை.

do those who commit evil deeds imagine that we shall deal with them in the same way as we deal with those who have attained to faith and do righteous deeds, that they will be alike in their living and their dying? how badly they judge!
எவர்கள் தீமைகள் செய்கிறார்களோ அவர்களை, எவர்கள் ஈமான் கொண்டு நல்ல அமல்கள் செய்கிறார்களோ அவர்களுக்குச் சமமாக நாம் ஆக்கிவிடுவோம் என்று எண்ணுகின்றார்களா? அவர்கள் உயிருடனிருப்பதும், மரணமடைவதும் சமமாகுமா? அவர்கள் முடிவு செய்து கொண்டது மிகவும் கெட்டதாகும்.

அவன் தான், தன்னுடைய அருள் (மாரிக்)கு முன், நற்செய்தியாக (குளிர்ந்த) காற்றுகளை அனுப்பிவைக்கிறான் அவை கனத்த மேகங்களைச் சுமக்கலானதும் நாம் அவற்றை இறந்து கிடக்கும் (வரண்ட) பூமியின் பக்கம் ஓட்டிச் சென்று, அதிலிருந்து மழையைப் பொழியச் செய்கின்றோம்; பின்னர் அதைக் கொண்டு எல்லாவிதமான கனிவகை (விளைச்சல்)களையும் வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றோம் - இவ்வாறே நாம் இறந்தவர்களையும் எழுப்புவோம். (எனவே இவற்றை யெல்லாம் சிந்தித்து) நீங்கள் நல்லுணர்வு பெறுவீர்களாக.
