Žalobkyně navrhuje, aby soudní dvůr:-určil, že irsko tím, že nezajistilo, s ohledem na vypuštění z aglomerací známých jako ie22, bray, ie31, howth, ie34, letterkenny, ie40, shanaganagh, ie41, sligo, a ie45, tramore county waterford, aby byly odpadní vody odváděné stokovými soustavami před vypuštěním podrobeny sekundárnímu čištění nebo jinému rovnocennému čištění, a to nejpozději do 31. prosince 2000, a tím, že nezajistilo, aby uvedená vypuštění splňovala relevantní požadavky přílohy i.b směrnice rady 91/271/ehs [1] ze dne 30. května 1991 o čištění městských odpadních vod v uvedené lhůtě, nesplnilo povinnosti, které pro něho vyplývají z čl. 4 odst. 1 a 3 uvedené směrnice;
