why, if you are not at our disposal,

if you are not subject to anyone's authority,

เขากล่าวว่า “ดังนั้น ถ้าท่านติดตามฉันก็อย่าได้ถามฉันถึงสิ่งใด จนกว่าฉันจะเล่าเรื่องนั้นแก่ท่าน”

he said, "well then, if you would follow me, do not ask me about anything till i speak of it to you."
เขากล่าวว่า “ดังนั้น ถ้าท่านติดตามฉันก็อย่าได้ถามฉันถึงสิ่งใด จนกว่าฉันจะเล่าเรื่องนั้นแก่ท่าน”

he said to moses, "if you will follow me, do not ask me about anything until i tell you the story about it."
เขากล่าวว่า “ดังนั้น ถ้าท่านติดตามฉันก็อย่าได้ถามฉันถึงสิ่งใด จนกว่าฉันจะเล่าเรื่องนั้นแก่ท่าน”

so do not lose heart or be grieved, for you will surely prevail if you are believers.
และพวกเจ้าจงอย่าท้อแท้ และจงอย่าเสียใจ แลบพวกเจ้านั้นคือผู้ที่สูงส่งยิ่ง หากพวกเจ้าเป็นผู้ศรัทธา

and do not be negligent nor grieve – it is you who will be victorious if you are believers.
และพวกเจ้าจงอย่าท้อแท้ และจงอย่าเสียใจ แลบพวกเจ้านั้นคือผู้ที่สูงส่งยิ่ง หากพวกเจ้าเป็นผู้ศรัทธา

if you are in doubt about what we revealed to you, ask those who read the scripture before you. the truth has come to you from your lord, so do not be of those who doubt.
หากเจ้าอยู่ในการสงสัย ในสิ่งที่เราได้ให้แก่เจ้า ก็จงถามบรรดาผู้อ่านคัมภีร์ก่อนเจ้า(เตารอฮ์) โดยแน่นอนสัจธรรมได้มายังเจ้าจากพระเจ้าของเจ้า ดังนั้นเจ้าจงอย่าอยู่ในหมู่ผู้สงสัย

and do not become faint of heart, nor grieve, you will have the upper hand, if you are believers,
และพวกเจ้าจงอย่าท้อแท้ และจงอย่าเสียใจ แลบพวกเจ้านั้นคือผู้ที่สูงส่งยิ่ง หากพวกเจ้าเป็นผู้ศรัทธา

if you are in any doubt concerning what we have sent down to you, then question those who have read the book before you: the truth has come to you from your lord, so do not be one of the doubters --
หากเจ้าอยู่ในการสงสัย ในสิ่งที่เราได้ให้แก่เจ้า ก็จงถามบรรดาผู้อ่านคัมภีร์ก่อนเจ้า(เตารอฮ์) โดยแน่นอนสัจธรรมได้มายังเจ้าจากพระเจ้าของเจ้า ดังนั้นเจ้าจงอย่าอยู่ในหมู่ผู้สงสัย

and do not be weak in seeking out the people. if you are suffering, they are also suffering as you are suffering, but you are hoping from allah that which they do not hope. allah is the knower, the wise.
และพวกเจ้าจงอย่าท้อแท้ในการแสวงหากลุ่มชนพวกนั้น หากพวกเจ้าเจ็บ พวกเขาก็เจ็บเช่นเดียวกับพวกเจ้า แต่พวกเจ้าหวังจากอัลลอฮฺสิ่งที่พวกเขาไม่หวัง และอัลลอฮฺนั้น เป็นผู้ทรงรอบรู้ ผู้ทรงปรีชาญาณ

and do not call, apart from god, on what neither benefits you nor harms you. if you do, you are then one of the wrongdoers.
และเจ้าอย่าวิงวอนสิ่งใดอื่นจากอัลลอฮ์ที่ไม่อำนวยประโยชน์แก่เจ้า และไม่ให้โทษแก่เจ้า หากเจ้ากระทำเช่นนั้น แท้จริงเจ้าจะอยู่ในหมู่ผู้อธรรม

if you find no one at home, do not go in until permission has been granted you. if you are told to go away, then go away. that is more proper for you. god knows well what you do.
เมื่อพวกเจ้าไม่พบผู้ใดในบ้านนั้นก็อย่าเข้าไป จนกว่าจะได้รับอนุญาตแก่พวกเจ้า และเมื่อมีการกล่าวแก่พวกเจ้าว่า จงกลับไป ก็จงกลับไปมันเป็นการเหมาะสมยิ่งแก่พวกเจ้า และอัลลอฮ์ทรงรอบรู้สิ่งที่พวกเจ้ากระทำ

and do not weaken in pursuit of the enemy. if you should be suffering - so are they suffering as you are suffering, but you expect from allah that which they expect not. and allah is ever knowing and wise.
และพวกเจ้าจงอย่าท้อแท้ในการแสวงหากลุ่มชนพวกนั้น หากพวกเจ้าเจ็บ พวกเขาก็เจ็บเช่นเดียวกับพวกเจ้า แต่พวกเจ้าหวังจากอัลลอฮฺสิ่งที่พวกเขาไม่หวัง และอัลลอฮฺนั้น เป็นผู้ทรงรอบรู้ ผู้ทรงปรีชาญาณ

and do not falter in the pursuit of the enemy. if you are aching, they are aching as you are aching, but you expect from god what they cannot expect. god is knowledgeable and wise.
และพวกเจ้าจงอย่าท้อแท้ในการแสวงหากลุ่มชนพวกนั้น หากพวกเจ้าเจ็บ พวกเขาก็เจ็บเช่นเดียวกับพวกเจ้า แต่พวกเจ้าหวังจากอัลลอฮฺสิ่งที่พวกเขาไม่หวัง และอัลลอฮฺนั้น เป็นผู้ทรงรอบรู้ ผู้ทรงปรีชาญาณ

believers! do not seek the friendship of those who were given the book before you or the disbelievers who ridicule your religion and make a jest of it. have fear of god, if you are true believers.
ผู้ศรัทธาทั้งหลาย ! จงอย่าได้ยึดเอามาเป็นมิตรผู้ซึ่งถือเอาศรัทธาของพวกเจ้าเป็นการเย้ยหยัน และเป็นการล้อเล่น จากบรรดาผู้ที่ได้รับคัมภีร์ ก่อนพวกเจ้า และบรรดาผู้ปฏิเสธศรัทธาทั้งหลาย และพึงยำเกรงอัลลอฮ์เถิด หากพวกเจ้าเป็นผู้ศรัทธา

and why should i fear those you associate with him, and you do not fear associating others with god for which he sent down to you no authority? which side is more entitled to security, if you are aware?”
และอย่างไรเล่าที่ฉันจะกลัวสิ่งที่พวกท่านให้มีภาคีขึ้น โดยที่พวกท่านไม่กลัวที่พวกท่านได้ให้มีภาคีแก่อัลลอฮ์ซึ่งสิ่งที่พระองค์มิได้ทรงให้มีหลักฐานใด ๆ ลงมาแก่พวกเจ้าในสิ่งนั้น แล้วฝ่ายใดเล่าในสองฝ่ายนั้น เป็นฝ่ายที่สมควรต่อความปลอดภัย ยิ่งกว่าหากพวกท่านรู้
