in replacing you with another creation like you, changing you into a form which you do not know.
ในการที่เราจะเปลี่ยนบุคคลเยี่ยงพวกเจ้า และเราจะให้พวกเจ้าเกิดขึ้นมาอีกในสิ่งที่พวกเจ้าไม่รู้

they would like you to compromise, so they would compromise.

like you, they thought that allah would never raise the dead.

and we destroyed those like you, is there any that will remember!
และโดยแน่นอน เราได้ทำลายกลุ่มชนเช่นพวกเจ้าแล้วมีผู้ใดบ้างที่รับข้อตักเตือนนั้น

and were ye to obey a human being like you, ye are forthwith to be losers.
“และหากพวกท่านเชื่อฟังปฏิบัติตามมนุษย์ธรรมดาเช่นเดียวกับพวกท่าน ดังนั้นแน่นอนพวกท่านเป็นผู้ขาดทุน

indeed those whom you invoke besides allah are creatures like you. so invoke them: they should answer you, if you are truthful.
“แท้จริงบรรดาผู้ที่พวกเจ้าวิงวอนขอ อื่นจากอัลลอฮ์นั้นคือ ผู้ที่เป็นบ่าว เยี่ยงพวกเจ้านั้นเอง จงวิงวอนขอต่อพวกเขาเถิด แล้วจงให้พวกเขาตอบรับพวกเจ้าด้วย หากพวกเจ้าเป็นผู้พูดจริง ”

we have indeed destroyed many a people like you. is there anyone who would receive admonition?
และโดยแน่นอน เราได้ทำลายกลุ่มชนเช่นพวกเจ้าแล้วมีผู้ใดบ้างที่รับข้อตักเตือนนั้น

indeed, those you [polytheists] call upon besides allah are servants like you. so call upon them and let them respond to you, if you should be truthful.
“แท้จริงบรรดาผู้ที่พวกเจ้าวิงวอนขอ อื่นจากอัลลอฮ์นั้นคือ ผู้ที่เป็นบ่าว เยี่ยงพวกเจ้านั้นเอง จงวิงวอนขอต่อพวกเขาเถิด แล้วจงให้พวกเขาตอบรับพวกเจ้าด้วย หากพวกเจ้าเป็นผู้พูดจริง ”

a group of his people who disbelieved him and had called the day of judgment a lie and whom we had made prosperous in this life, said, "he is a mere mortal like you. he eats and drinks as you do.
และหัวหน้าหมู่ชนของเขา คือบรรดาผู้ปฏิเสธศรัทธา และปฏิเสธไม่ยอมเชื่อการมีวันปรโลก และเราได้ให้ความสำราญแก่พวกเขาในโลกนี้ กล่าวว่า “เขาผู้นี้มิใช่ใครอื่น นอกจากเป็นปุถุชนคนธรรมดาเช่นเดียวกับพวกท่านเขากินอาหารเช่นเดียวกับที่พวกท่านกิน และเขาดื่มเช่นเดียวกับพวกท่านดื่ม

(muhammad), say, "i am a mere mortal like you. i have received a revelation that your lord is the only one. so be up-right and obedient to him and seek forgiveness from him.
จงกล่าวเถิดมุฮัมมัด ฉันก็คือสามัญชนเยี่ยงพวกท่าน แต่ได้มีวะฮียฺแก่ฉันว่า พระเจ้าของพวกท่านนั้นคือพระเจ้าองค์เดียว ดังนั้นจงมุ่งตรงสู่พระองค์เถิด และจงขออภัยต่อพระองค์และความวิบัติจงมีแต่บรรดาผู้ตั้งภาคี

but the chieftains of his folk, who disbelieved, said: this is only a mortal like you who would make himself superior to you. had allah willed, he surely could have sent down angels. we heard not of this in the case of our fathers of old.
แล้วหัวหน้าของบรรดาผู้ปฏิเสธศรัทธาในหมู่ชนของเขาได้กล่าวขึ้นว่า “เขาผู้ที่มิใช่ใครอื่นนอกจากเป็นปุถุชนคนธรรมดาเช่นเดียวกับพวกท่านเพียงแต่เขาต้องการที่จะทำตัวให้ดีเด่นเหนือพวกท่าน และหากอัลลอฮ์ ทรงประสงค์แล้ว แน่นอนพระองค์จะทรงส่งมะลาอิกะฮ์ลงมา เราไม่เคยได้ยินคำพูดเช่นนี้ในสมัยบรรพบุรุษของเราแต่กาลก่อนเลย

and the chiefs of his people, who disbelieved and denied the meeting in the hereafter, and to whom we had given the luxuries and comforts of this life, said: "he is no more than a human being like you, he eats of that which you eat, and drinks of what you drink.
และหัวหน้าหมู่ชนของเขา คือบรรดาผู้ปฏิเสธศรัทธา และปฏิเสธไม่ยอมเชื่อการมีวันปรโลก และเราได้ให้ความสำราญแก่พวกเขาในโลกนี้ กล่าวว่า “เขาผู้นี้มิใช่ใครอื่น นอกจากเป็นปุถุชนคนธรรมดาเช่นเดียวกับพวกท่านเขากินอาหารเช่นเดียวกับที่พวกท่านกิน และเขาดื่มเช่นเดียวกับพวกท่านดื่ม

and there is not an animal moving in the earth nor a bird flying on its wings, but they are a nation like you; we have left out nothing in this book – then towards their lord they will be raised.
และไม่มีสัตว์ใด ๆ ในแผ่นดิน และไม่มีสัตว์ปีกใด ๆ ที่ยินด้วยสองปีกของมัน นอกจากประหนึ่งเป็นประชาชาติ เยี่ยงพวกเจ้านั้นเอง เรามิได้ให้บกพร่องแต่อย่างใดในคัมภีร์ แล้วยังพระเจ้าของพวกเขานั้น พวกเขาจะถูกนำไปชุมนุม

say, ‘i am just a human being like you. it has been revealed to me that your god is the one god. so whoever expects to encounter his lord—let him act righteously, and not associate anyone with the worship of his lord.’
จงกล่าวเถิดมุฮัมมัด “แท้จริง ฉันเป็นเพียงสามัญชนคนหนึ่งเยี่ยงพวกท่าน มีวะฮีแก่ฉันว่าแท้จริง พระเจ้าของพวกท่านนั้นคือพระเจ้าองค์เดียว ดังนั้น ผู้ใดหวังที่จะพบพระผู้เป็นเจ้าของเขา ก็ให้เขาประกอบการงานที่ดี และอย่างตั้งผู้ใดเป็นภาคีในการเคารพภักดีต่อพระผู้เป็นเจ้าของเขาเลย”

ah! there you are, being invited to spend in the way of allah; yet among you there are those who are stingy; and whoever is stingy is stingy only to himself. allah is the all-sufficient, and you are all-needy, and if you turn away he will replace you with another people, and they will not be like you.
พึงรู้เถิดว่าพวกเจ้านี้แหละคือหมู่ชนที่ถูกเรียกร้องให้บริจาคในทางของอัลลอฮ. แต่มีบางคนในหมู่พวกเจ้าเป็นผู้ตระหนี่ ดังนั้น ผู้ใดตระหนี่เขาก็ตระหนี่แก่ตัวของเขาเอง เพราะอัลลอฮ.เป็นผู้ทรงมั่งมี แต่พวกเจ้าเป็นผู้ขัดสนและถ้าพวกเจ้าเผินหลังออก พระองค์ก็จะทรงเปลี่ยนหมู่ชนอื่นแทนพวกเจ้า แล้วพวกเขาเหล่านั้นจะไม่เป็นเช่นพวกเจ้า
