internet has become one of the best inventions in the modern world. it is even difficult to imagine how life would be in the absence of internet. a lot of things have been made possible due the fact that the internet makes it easy for people to communicate. internet is viewed to be the current trend that everyone should fit in all ways. however, there are lots of people who have been brought up without internet. therefore, this paper gives an insight of how life would be if people did not have the access to internet. in the absence of internet, then it would be difficult for companies and individuals to achieve their goals effectively due to poor communication system. people will have to use the traditional means of communication such as phones and sending of letters. such means might delay the intended message as compared to the modern world of internet whereby individuals and companies can hold meetings through video conferencing. also, internet marketing would be impossible for companies thus leading them to mouth-to-mouth advertising. however, people would have to adapt to that kind of life despite the fact things will be slowly. also, in terms of socialization, most people use the internet to catch up with new and old friends. therefore, in a world that lacks internet, people would be forced to use basic methods of meeting their friends. a large population of the young people use the internet for the purposes of meeting new friends from different locations. hence, without internet, people would be forced to make new friends from their neighborhood or the places that they visit throughout their life. it would also be impossible to tell how someone’s life is progressing since there are no stalking platforms. people would only know much about their friends’ lives by meeting them. however, people have lived without internet and socialization used to take place but in a lower rate than how it happens through the internets. the internet exposes young people to information that has both negative and positive impacts in their life. therefore, a life without internet would be viewed in two ways depending on the role it plays to the people. many people are able to access pornographic materials which lead them into doing things that are not acceptable to the society. also, cyberbullying is a common factor to internet users. hence, its lack would make it impossible for people to bully others not unless it happens in the ground level when people meet. in addition, such occasions are rare as compared to what happens in the internet. a life without internet would then guarantee a morally upright society since people will not have access to information that influence them negatively. on the other hand, firsthand information on breaking news is mostly passed through the social media which makes it easy for people to take precautions where necessary. hence, relying on traditional methods of communication would make life slow due to the lack of a fast means of communication. concisely, people have gotten used to living with internet and, therefore, life without internet would be boring and slow. however, human beings are obliged to respond to changes in the society and this would force them into getting used to such a life. on a wider view, this could motivate people into making more innovations as a solution to a faster life. companies and business people would be the fast to come up with such ways because they require efficient communication to ensure that their goods are reaching a large market share. human beings have come a long way without internet and its lack would pave way for other innovations.
