na humruzuku kwa jiha asiyo tazamia. na anaye mtegemea mwenyezi mungu yeye humtosha.
and god will provide for him from an unexpected source; god suffices for anyone who puts his trust in him.

au hao wana miungu ya kishirikina walio watungia dini asiyo itolea idhini mwenyezi mungu?
do they have any associates (of allah) who have laid down for them a way pertaining to faith which allah did not sanction?

au ndio mnampa khabari ya yale asiyo yajua katika ardhi; au ni maneno matupu?
are you trying to tell god about something that does not exist on the earth? do you only mention empty names?

sema: je! mnamwambia mwenyezi mungu asiyo yajua ya katika mbingu wala katika ardhi?
say, "do you inform god about something in heavens and on earth that he does not know?

sema watajeni. au ndio mnampa khabari ya yale asiyo yajua katika ardhi; au ni maneno matupu?
or are you informing allah of something the existence of which he does not even know?" or do people arbitrarily utter empty words?

mnamwambia mwenyezi mungu asiyo yajua ya katika mbingu wala katika ardhi? subhanahu wa taa'la!
(muhammad), tell them, "are you trying to tell god about something that he does not find in the heavens or earth?

wanataka kujificha kwa watu, wala hawataki kujificha kwa mwenyezi mungu, naye yu pamoja nao pale wanapo panga njama usiku kwa maneno asiyo yapenda.
they can hide (their deeds) from men but they cannot hide (them) from allah for he is with them even when they hold nightly counsels that are unpleasing to allah.

wanataka kujificha kwa watu, wala hawataki kujificha kwa mwenyezi mungu, naye yu pamoja nao pale wanapo panga njama usiku kwa maneno asiyo yapenda. na mwenyezi mungu anayajua vyema wanayo yatenda.
they feel ashamed before men but do not feel ashamed before god, despite his being present with them when they plot at night, uttering things of which he does not approve; and indeed god is fully aware of what they do.
