kila aliye mtoto wa mungu hatendi dhambi, maana anayo hali ya kimungu ndani yake; hawezi kutenda dhambi kwa sababu yeye ni mtoto wa mungu.
whosoever is born of god doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of god.

watu wote, wadogo na wakubwa, walimsikiliza kwa makini wakisema, "simoni ndiye ile nguvu ya kimungu inayoitwa nguvu kubwa."
to whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, this man is the great power of god.

na roho mtakatifu akamshukia akiwa na umbo kama la njiwa. sauti ikasikika kutoka mbinguni: "wewe ndiwe mwanangu mpendwa, nimependezwa nawe."
