14th july at 3.55pm: ok, so now all countries have been removed from the site. during this time the prices of all products will display without vat. upon reopening prices will display with vat again. on the products front, the 2023 season white rose otto organic has arrived today (just as the sites closed!) and will be available upon reopening on the 4th august. on the sandalwood front, i am behind but will get the final lot of orders for mysore royal 1943 e.o dispatched by monday. likewise if those who registered interest pay me in early august, then mysore gold 1923 e.o will also not make it onto the website as every drop will have been sold. it does look though like the wild s.album sandalwood ceylon red 1950 e.o will make it onto the site - logs used no less than 70 years old - as i will still have nearly 40% on hand if everyone pays me in august. i do have two more mysore sandalwoods to release, one of which is also produced from plus 100 year old logs (same producer behind 1923) plus another beautiful indian sandalwood from kerala and it now looks almost certain that the deal for another mysore offering is going to go ahead in august after my holidays - from the chap who produced 1943. i am aware some clients are annoyed that these gems are getting gobbled up by collectors and not making it to the site. therefore, on the remaining lots, i will not offer any pre-order opportunities (i promise) and take the remaining sandalwoods straight to the website. before i forget, i now have the tobacco flower abs from a new producer, and this will be offered at 399 euros per 10ml instead of 799 euros from the previous producer from the 4th august. qualities wise, i have cross compared and i think they are near enough on par, but as a precaution i will be putting an additional piece of text in the listing, chiefly because i can't guarantee the supply, the new source is just that, brand new to me, and if i have to revert to my previous source, then the price will go up by 400 euros again. on the ouds front, it's highly likely by mid august i should be offering chinese ouds at long last and i will get another wild assam oud offering released by early september. i also have more rose ottos to evaluate including tea rose otto again - of which i passed on last time and i will be getting more of the chinese jasmine sambac abs sg as the new batch sample has arrived, and its proper on point once again. also the epic coffee absolute i used to offer might be making a return as that producer has started up again. beyond this i am considering taking a chance on a chocolate scented spikenard (so weird) and a mind bending nagarmotha co2- both custom productions. on top of this, once the sds have been uploaded - prior to reopening, i am aiming to offer another 30 materials (minimum) in wholesale weights. on the subject of wholesale, please note that the next time i buy my tobacco absolutes, the prices at wholesale will increase by 35% as the producer seems not willing to negotiate with me on his increases. thanks, adam : ) 11th july at 6.30pm: apologies but i am really behind with orders and mostly alone with work at the moment. so i need to make a change to what i have previously written. i am going to stop taking orders now on thursday 13th july at 3pm italy time. after this time all countries will be removed from the site to prevent any orders from being placed. all orders on my books will all be assembled and dispatched. after which i will be taking time off work, and will reopen (add countries back onto the site) on august 4th by 1pm italy time. thank you, adam : )
