am i better or this contemptible man who is scarcely able to express himself ?
« በውነቱ እኔ ከዚህ ያ እርሱ ወራዳ ንግግሩንም ሊገልጽ የማይቀርብ ከኾነው በላጭ ነኝ ፡ ፡

am i not better than this contemptible man who can hardly make his meaning clear :
« በውነቱ እኔ ከዚህ ያ እርሱ ወራዳ ንግግሩንም ሊገልጽ የማይቀርብ ከኾነው በላጭ ነኝ ፡ ፡

or am i better than this man , who is contemptible and scarcely makes things clear ?
« በውነቱ እኔ ከዚህ ያ እርሱ ወራዳ ንግግሩንም ሊገልጽ የማይቀርብ ከኾነው በላጭ ነኝ ፡ ፡

no associate has he ; and this am i commanded , and i am the first of those who submit .

he has no partner . so am i commanded , and i am the first of those who submit . "
« ለእርሱ ተጋሪ የለውም ፡ ፡ በዚህም ( በማጥራት ) ታዘዝኩ ፡ ፡ እኔም የሙስሊሞች መጀመሪያ ነኝ » ( በል ) ፡ ፡

am i ( not ) better than him who is contemptible , and cannot even express himself clearly ?
« በውነቱ እኔ ከዚህ ያ እርሱ ወራዳ ንግግሩንም ሊገልጽ የማይቀርብ ከኾነው በላጭ ነኝ ፡ ፡

and the disbeliever says , " when i have died , am i going to be brought forth alive ? "
ሰውም « በሞትኩ ጊዜ ወደፊት ሕያው ኾኜ ( ከመቃብር ) እወጣለሁን » ይላል ፡ ፡

and when your lord summoned the descendants of adam , and made them testify about themselves . “ am i not your lord ? ”
ጌታህም ከአደም ልጆች ከጀርቦቻቸው ዘሮቻቸውን ባወጣና « ጌታችሁ አይደለሁምን » ሲል በነፍሶቻቸው ላይ ባስመሰከራቸው ጊዜ ( የኾነውን አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡ « ጌታችን ነህ መሰከርን » አሉ ፡ ፡ « በትንሣኤ ቀን ከዚህ ( ኪዳን ) ዘንጊዎች ነበርን እንዳትሉ ፡ ፡ »

" am i not better than this ( moses ) , who is a contemptible wretch and can scarcely express himself clearly ?
« በውነቱ እኔ ከዚህ ያ እርሱ ወራዳ ንግግሩንም ሊገልጽ የማይቀርብ ከኾነው በላጭ ነኝ ፡ ፡
