እኔም አልኋችሁ ።

and because i tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
እኔ ግን እውነትን የምናገር ስለ ሆንሁ አታምኑኝም።

« ወደ ፊትም ለእናንተ የምላችሁን ምክር ( ቅጣትን በምታዩ ጊዜ ) ታስታውሳላችሁ ፡ ፡ ነገሬንም ሁሉ ወደ አላህ አስጠጋለሁ ፡ ፡ አላህ ባሮቹን ተመልካች ነውና ፡ ፡ »

and i fled from you because i feared you . then my lord granted me wisdom and made me one of the messengers .
« በፈራኋችሁም ጊዜ ከእንናተ ሸሸሁ ፡ ፡ ጌታየም ለእኔ ጥበብን ሰጠኝ ፡ ፡ ከመልክተኞቹም አደረገኝ ፡ ፡

and i told them : ' ask your lord to forgive you . he is verily forgiving .
« አልኳቸውም ፡ - ጌታችሁን ምሕረትን ለምኑት ፡ ፡ እርሱ በጣም መሐሪ ነውና ፡ ፡

therefore doth my father love me, because i lay down my life, that i might take it again.
ነፍሴን ደግሞ አነሣት ዘንድ አኖራለሁና ስለዚህ አብ ይወደኛል።

have i committed an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because i have preached to you the gospel of god freely?
ወይስ የእግዚአብሔርን ወንጌል ያለ ደመወዝ ስለ ሰበክሁላችሁ፥ እናንተ ከፍ እንድትሉ ራሴን እያዋረድሁ ኃጢአት አድርጌ ይሆንን?

and now i have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
ከሆነም በኋላ ታምኑ ዘንድ አሁን አስቀድሞ ሳይሆን። ነግሬአችኋለሁ።

i told them , " messengers , eat from the pure things and act righteously ; i know all that you do .
እናንተ መልክተኞች ሆይ ! ከተፈቀዱት ምግቦች ብሉ ፡ ፡ በጎ ሥራንም ሥሩ ፡ ፡ እኔ የምተሠሩትን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነኝ ፡ ፡

i am told ( about matters ) by means of revelation only because i am a clear warner . ”
« ወደእኔም አስፈራሪ ገላጭ መኾኔ እንጂ ሌላ አይወረድልኝም » ( በል ) ፡ ፡

the world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because i testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.
ዓለም እናንተን ሊጠላ አይቻለውም፤ እኔ ግን ሥራው ክፉ መሆኑን እመሰክርበታለሁና እኔን ይጠላኛል።

( they will be told ) , " you will certainly suffer the painful torment
እናንተ አሳማሚውን ቅጣት በእርግጥ ቀማሾች ናችሁ ፡ ፡

( they will be told ) : “ you shall taste the grievous chastisement .
እናንተ አሳማሚውን ቅጣት በእርግጥ ቀማሾች ናችሁ ፡ ፡

we have already told you what we have forbidden the jews . we did not wrong them , they wronged themselves .
በእነዚያም ይሁዳውያን በኾኑት ላይ ከአሁን በፊት በአንተ ላይ የተረክነውን ነገር እርም አድርገንባቸዋል ፡ ፡ እኛም አልበደልናቸውም ፡ ፡ ግን ነፍሶቻቸውን ይበድሉ ነበሩ ፡ ፡

they will be told , " you and what you had worshipped instead of god will be the fuel of hell " .
እናንተ ከአላህ ሌላ የምትግገዟቸውም ( ጣዖታት ) የገሀነም ማገዶዎች ናችሁ ፡ ፡ እናንተ ለእርሷ ወራጆች ናችሁ ፡ ፡

some messengers we have already told you about , while some messengers we have not told you about . and god spoke to moses directly .
ከዚህም በፊት በአንተ ላይ በእርግጥ የተረክናቸውን መልክተኞች ባንተ ላይም ያልተረክናቸውን መልክተኞች ( እንደላክን ላክንህ ) ፡ ፡ አላህም ሙሳን ማነጋገርን አነጋገረው ፡ ፡
