say , “ have you considered ? if it is from god and you reject it — who is further astray than he who is cutoff and alienated ? ”
በላቸው « ንገሩኝ ( ቁርኣኑ ) ከአላህ ዘንድ ቢኾን ከዚያም በእርሱ ብትክዱ ( ከውነት ) በራቀ ጭቅጭቅ ላይ ከኾነ ሰው ይበልጥ የተሳሳተ ማን ነው ? »

say : tell me if it is from allah ; then you disbelieve in it , who is in greater error than he who is in a prolonged opposition ?
በላቸው « ንገሩኝ ( ቁርኣኑ ) ከአላህ ዘንድ ቢኾን ከዚያም በእርሱ ብትክዱ ( ከውነት ) በራቀ ጭቅጭቅ ላይ ከኾነ ሰው ይበልጥ የተሳሳተ ማን ነው ? »

say : have you considered if it is from allah , and you disbelieve in it , and a witness from among the children of israel has borne witness of one like it , so he believed , while you are big with pride ; surely allah does not guide the unjust people .
( ሙሐመድ ሆይ ! ) በላቸው « እስቲ ንገሩኝ ፤ ( ቁርኣኑ ) ከአላህ ዘንድ ቢኾን ፡ ፡ በእርሱም ብትክዱ ፣ ከእስራኤል ልጆችም መስካሪ በብጤው ( በእርሱ ) ላይ ቢመሰክር ፣ ቢያምንም ፣ ( ከእምነት ) ብትኮሩም ፣ ( በዳይ አትኾኑምን ? ) » አላህ በእርግጥ በደለኞችን ሕዝቦች አያቀናም ፡ ፡

and of his portents are the night and the day and the sun and the moon . do not prostrate to the sun or the moon ; but prostrate to allah who created them , if it is in truth him whom ye worship .
ሌሊትና ቀንም ፀሐይና ጨረቃም ከምልክቶቹ ናቸው ፡ ፡ ለፀሐይና ለጨረቃ አትስገዱ ፡ ፡ ለእዚያም ለፈጠራቸው አላህ ስገዱ ፡ ፡ እርሱን ብቻ የምትግገዙ እንደ ኾናችሁ ( ለሌላ አትስገዱ ) ፡ ፡

say thou : bethink ye ! if it is really from allah and then ye disbelieve therein , then who is further astray than one who is in schism far-off ?
በላቸው « ንገሩኝ ( ቁርኣኑ ) ከአላህ ዘንድ ቢኾን ከዚያም በእርሱ ብትክዱ ( ከውነት ) በራቀ ጭቅጭቅ ላይ ከኾነ ሰው ይበልጥ የተሳሳተ ማን ነው ? »

and they say , " what is in the bellies of these animals is exclusively for our males and forbidden to our females . but if it is [ born ] dead , then all of them have shares therein . "
« በነዚህም እንስሶች ሆዶች ውስጥ ያለው ለወንዶቻችን በተለይ የተፈቀደ ነው ፡ ፡ በሚስቶቻችንም ላይ እርም የተደረገ ነው ፡ ፡ ሙትም ቢኾን ( ሙት ኾኖ ቢወለድ ) እነርሱ ( ወንዶቹም ሴቶቹም ) በርሱ ተጋሪዎች ናቸው » አሉ ፡ ፡ በመቅጠፋቸው አላህ በእርግጥ ይቀጣቸዋል ፡ ፡ እርሱ ጥበበኛ ዐዋቂ ነውና ፡ ፡

allah is the light of the heavens and the earth ; the example of his light is like a niche in which is a lamp ; the lamp is in a glass ; the glass is as if it were a star shining like a pearl , kindled by the blessed olive tree , neither of the east nor of the west – it is close that the oil itself get ablaze although the fire does not touch it ; light upon light ; allah guides towards his light whomever he wills ; and allah illustrates examples for mankind ; and allah knows everything . ( the holy prophet is a light from allah )
አላህ የሰማያትና የምድር አብሪ ነው ፡ ፡ የብርሃኑ ምሳሌ በውስጧ መብራት እንዳለባት ( ዝግ ) መስኮት ፣ መብራቱ በብርጭቆ ውስጥ የኾነ ፣ ብርጭቆይቱ ፍፁም ሉላዊ ኮከብ የምትመሰል ፣ ምሥራቃዊው ምዕራባዊም ካልኾነች ከተባረከች የወይራ ዛፍ ዘይቷ እሳት ባይነካውም እንኳ ሊያበራ የሚቀርብ ከኾነች ( ዘይት ) የሚቃጠል እንደ ሆነ ( መብራት ) ነው ፡ ፡ ( ይህ ) በብርሃን ላይ የኾነ ብርሃን ነው ፡ ፡ አላህ ወደ ብርሃኑ የሚሻውን ሰው ይመራል ፡ ፡ አላህም ለሰዎች ምሳሌዎችን ያቀርባል ፡ ፡ አላህም በነገሩ ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡
