are there sons for you , and daughters for him ?
ለእናንተ ወንድ ለእርሱም ሴት ( ልጅ ) ይኖራልን ?

a defeated host are ( all ) the factions that are there .
እዚያ ዘንድ ከአሕዛብ የሆኑ ተሸናፊ ሰራዊት ናቸው ፡ ፡

do they not contemplate the quran , or are there locks on the hearts ?
ቁርኣንንም አያስተነትኑምን ? በእውነቱ በልቦቻቸው ላይ ቁልፎቿ አልሉባትን ?

will they not ponder the quran ? or are there locks upon their hearts ?
ቁርኣንንም አያስተነትኑምን ? በእውነቱ በልቦቻቸው ላይ ቁልፎቿ አልሉባትን ?

then said one unto him, lord, are there few that be saved? and he said unto them,
አንድ ሰውም። ጌታ ሆይ፥ የሚድኑ ጥቂቶች ናቸውን? አለው። እርሱም እንዲህ አላቸው።

will they not then contemplate on the koran ? or are there locks upon their hearts !
ቁርኣንንም አያስተነትኑምን ? በእውነቱ በልቦቻቸው ላይ ቁልፎቿ አልሉባትን ?

will they not , then , ponder over this quran ? or are there locks upon their hearts ?
ቁርኣንንም አያስተነትኑምን ? በእውነቱ በልቦቻቸው ላይ ቁልፎቿ አልሉባትን ?

so do they not ponder the qur an deeply ’ , or are there locks on some of their hearts ?
ቁርኣንንም አያስተነትኑምን ? በእውነቱ በልቦቻቸው ላይ ቁልፎቿ አልሉባትን ?

do they , then , not reflect on the qur 'an ? or are there locks on their hearts ?
ቁርኣንንም አያስተነትኑምን ? በእውነቱ በልቦቻቸው ላይ ቁልፎቿ አልሉባትን ?

then do they not reflect upon the qur 'an , or are there locks upon [ their ] hearts ?
ቁርኣንንም አያስተነትኑምን ? በእውነቱ በልቦቻቸው ላይ ቁልፎቿ አልሉባትን ?

on the day that we will say to hell : are you filled up ? and it will say : are there any more ?
ለገሀነም « ሞላሽን ? የምንልበትንና ጭማሪ አለን ? የምትልበትን ቀን » ( አስጠንቅቃቸው ) ፡ ፡

never shall we enter it as long as they are there . go forth , then , you and your lord , and fight , both of you .
« ሙሳ ሆይ ! በውስጧ እስካሉ ድረስ እኛ ፈጽሞ ምን ጊዜም አንገባትም ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ ኺድ አንተና ጌታህ ተጋደሉም እኛ እዚህ ተቀማጮች ነን » አሉ ፡ ፡

on that day we shall ask hell , " are you full ? " it will say , " are there any more ? "
ለገሀነም « ሞላሽን ? የምንልበትንና ጭማሪ አለን ? የምትልበትን ቀን » ( አስጠንቅቃቸው ) ፡ ፡

on that day we shall ask gehenna : ' are you full ' and it will answer : ' are there any more '
ለገሀነም « ሞላሽን ? የምንልበትንና ጭማሪ አለን ? የምትልበትን ቀን » ( አስጠንቅቃቸው ) ፡ ፡

on the day we will say to hell , " have you been filled ? " and it will say , " are there some more , "
ለገሀነም « ሞላሽን ? የምንልበትንና ጭማሪ አለን ? የምትልበትን ቀን » ( አስጠንቅቃቸው ) ፡ ፡

now ask them ( o muhammad saw ) : " are there ( only ) daughters for your lord and sons for them ? "
( የመካን ሰዎች ) ጠይቃቸውም ፡ ፡ « ለጌታህ ሴቶች ልጆች ለእነርሱም ወንዶች ልጆች ይኖራልን ? »

( muhammad ) , they ask you about the different phases of the moon . tell them that they are there to indicate to people the phases of time and the pilgrimage season .
( ሙሐመድ ሆይ ! ) ከለጋ ጨረቃዎች ( መለዋወጥ ) ይጠየቁሃል ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ለሰዎች ጥቅም ለሐጅም ( ማወቂያ ) ጊዜያቶች ( ምልክቶች ) ናቸው በላቸው ፡ ፡ መልካም ሥራም ቤቶችን ከጀርባዎቻቸው በመምጣታችሁ አይደለም ፡ ፡ ግን የመልካም ሥራ ባለቤት የተጠነቀቀ ሰው ነው ፡ ፡ ቤቶችንም ከደጃፎቻቸው በኩል ግቡ ፤ አላህንም ፍሩ ልትድኑ ይከጀላልና ( በላቸው ) ፡ ፡

as for those who believe and do good works , we shall admit them to gardens underneath which rivers flow , they are there for eternity , and for them purified spouses . and we shall admit them into plenteous shade .
እነዚያንም ያመኑትንና መልካም ሥራዎችን የሠሩትን ከስራቸው ወንዞች የሚፈሱባቸውን ገነቶች ዘልዓለም በውስጣቸው ዘውታሪዎች ሲኾኑ በእርግጥ እናገባቸዋለን ፡ ፡ ለእነሱ በውስጥዋ ንጹሕ ሚስቶች አሉዋቸው ፡ ፡ የምታስጠልልን ጥላም እናገባቸዋለን ፡ ፡

they said , “ o moosa ! we will never enter it whilst they are there , so you and your lord go and fight – we shall remain seated here . ”
« ሙሳ ሆይ ! በውስጧ እስካሉ ድረስ እኛ ፈጽሞ ምን ጊዜም አንገባትም ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ ኺድ አንተና ጌታህ ተጋደሉም እኛ እዚህ ተቀማጮች ነን » አሉ ፡ ፡

allah is the one who created you , then provided for you , then will cause you to die , and then will give you life . are there any of your " partners " who does anything of that ?
አላህ ያ የፈጠራችሁ ፣ ከዚያም ሲሳይን የሰጣችሁ ፣ ከዚያም የሚገድላችሁ ከዚያም ሕያው የሚያደርጋችሁ ነው ፡ ፡ ከምታጋሯቸው ( ጣዖታት ) ውስጥ ከዚህ ነገር አንዳችን የሚሠራ አለን ለአላህ ጥራት ይገባው ፡ ፡ ( በእርሱ ) ከሚያጋሩትም ሁሉ ላቀ ፡ ፡
