ይህም ( ጊዜ ) ያ ቀን አስቸጋሪ ቀን ነው ፡ ፡

( በኀጢኣት ) የሸፈናትም ሰው በእውነት አፈረ ፡ ፡

[ it will be ] lowering and exalting .
ዝቅ አድራጊና ከፍ አድራጊ ናት ፡ ፡

it is he who multiplied you on the earth , and it will be before him that you will be gathered .
እርሱም ያ በምድር ውስጥ የበተናችሁ ነው ፡ ፡ ወደርሱም ትሰበሰባላችሁ ፡ ፡

and the sky will be split open — for it will be frail on that day —
ሰማይም ትቀደዳለች ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ እርሷ በዚያ ቀን ደካማ ናት ፡ ፡

but it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones ,
መናጢውም ይርቃታል ፡ ፡

( it will be said ) : take him and fetter him
« ያዙት ፤ እሰሩትም ፡ ፡

( it will be said ) : ' take him and bind him .
« ያዙት ፤ እሰሩትም ፡ ፡

and surely it will be a cause of regret for the unbelievers .
እርሱም ( ቁርኣን ) በከሓዲዎቹ ላይ ጸጸት ነው ፡ ፡

by no means ! verily , it will be the fire of hell !
ይተው ! እርሷ ( እሳቲቱ ) ለዟ ናት ፡ ፡

( it will be said ) : " seize him and fetter him ,
« ያዙት ፤ እሰሩትም ፡ ፡

it will be a source of bitter regret for those who deny the truth --
እርሱም ( ቁርኣን ) በከሓዲዎቹ ላይ ጸጸት ነው ፡ ፡

and indeed it will be a [ matter of ] regret for the faithless .
እርሱም ( ቁርኣን ) በከሓዲዎቹ ላይ ጸጸት ነው ፡ ፡

and indeed , it will be [ a cause of ] regret upon the disbelievers .

( and it will be said ) : take him and drag him to the midst of hell ,
ያዙት ፤ ወደ ገሀነም መካከልም በኀይል ጎትቱት ፡ ፡

( it will be said ) " seize him and drag him into the midst of blazing fire ,
ያዙት ፤ ወደ ገሀነም መካከልም በኀይል ጎትቱት ፡ ፡

" seize him and drag him into the depths of hell , " ( it will be said ) ,
ያዙት ፤ ወደ ገሀነም መካከልም በኀይል ጎትቱት ፡ ፡
