and if you invite them to guidance , they do not hear ; and you see them looking at you while they do not see .
« ወደ ቅንም መንገድ ( እንዲመሩዋችሁ ) ብትጠሩዋቸው አይሰሙም ፤ » ( በላቸው ) ፡ ፡ እነርሱንም የማያዩ ሲኾኑ ወደ አንተ ሲመለከቱ ታያቸዋለህ ፡ ፡

« ወደ ቅንም መንገድ ( እንዲመሩዋችሁ ) ብትጠሩዋቸው አይሰሙም ፤ » ( በላቸው ) ፡ ፡ እነርሱንም የማያዩ ሲኾኑ ወደ አንተ ሲመለከቱ ታያቸዋለህ ፡ ፡

and if you do not -- and you will not -- then fear the fire , whose fuel is men and stones , prepared for unbelievers .
( ይህንን ) ባትሠሩ ፈጽሞም አትሠሩትምና ያችን መቀጣጠያዋ ሰዎችና ድንጋዮች የኾነችውን እሳት ተጠበቁ ፤ ለከሓዲዎች ተደግሳለች ፡ ፡

but if you do not and — you will not — then beware the fire whose fuel is people and stones , prepared for the disbelievers .
( ይህንን ) ባትሠሩ ፈጽሞም አትሠሩትምና ያችን መቀጣጠያዋ ሰዎችና ድንጋዮች የኾነችውን እሳት ተጠበቁ ፤ ለከሓዲዎች ተደግሳለች ፡ ፡

and if you wish to change one wife for another and you have given her heaps of treasure , do not take back anything from it ; will you take it back by slander and open sin ?
በሚስትም ስፍራ ሚስትን ለመለወጥ ብትፈልጉ ለአንደኛይቱ ( ለምትፈታው ) ብዙን ገንዘብ የሰጣችኋት ስትኾኑ ከርሱ ምንንም አትውሰዱ ፡ ፡ በመበደልና ግልጽ በኾነ ኀጢአት ትወስዱታላችሁን

and if you call them to guidance , they follow you not . it is the same for you whether you call them or you keep silent .
( ጣዖቶቹን ) ወደ ቅን መንገድ ብትጠሩዋቸውም አይከተሉዋችሁም ፡ ፡ ብትጠሩዋቸው ወይም እናንተ ዝምተኞችም ብትኾኑ በእናንተ ላይ እኩል ነው ፡ ፡

and you have indeed learnt about the first creation , so why do you not ponder ?
የፊተኛይቱንም አፈጣጠር በእርግጥ ዐውቃችኋል ፡ ፡ አትገነዘቡምን ?

allah is therich and you are the poor . if you turn away , he will replace you with another nation , and they will not be like you .
ንቁ ! እናንተ እነዚያ በአላህ መንገድ ትለግሱ ዘንድ የምትጥጠሩ ናችሁ ፡ ፡ ከእናንተም ውስጥ የሚሰስት ሰው አልለ ፡ ፡ የሚሰስትም ሰው የሚሰስተው በራሱ ላይ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህም ከበርቴ ነው ፡ ፡ እናንተም ድኾች ናችሁ ፡ ፡ ብትሸሹም ሌሎችን ሕዝቦች ይለውጣል ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ( ባለመታዘዝ ) ብጤዎቻችሁ አይኾኑም ፡ ፡

do you not restore his soul , if you are truthful ?
እውነተኞች እንደ ኾናችሁ ( ነፍሲቱን ወደ አካሉ ) ለምን አትመልሷትም ፡ ፡

believers ! if you follow those who deny the truth , they will drive you back on your heels , and you will turn about , losers .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! እነዚያን የካዱትን ሰዎች ብትታዘዙ ወደ ኋላችሁ ይመልሱዋችኋል ፡ ፡ ከሳሪዎች ኾናችሁም ትገለበጣላችሁ ፡ ፡

" are you not those to whom my revelations were recited , and you dubbed them as lies ? "
« አንቀጾቼ በእናንተ ላይ የሚነበቡላችሁና በእነርሱ የምታስተባብሉ አልነበራችሁምን » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

but if you do it not , and you can never do it , then fear the fire ( hell ) whose fuel is men and stones , prepared for the disbelievers .
( ይህንን ) ባትሠሩ ፈጽሞም አትሠሩትምና ያችን መቀጣጠያዋ ሰዎችና ድንጋዮች የኾነችውን እሳት ተጠበቁ ፤ ለከሓዲዎች ተደግሳለች ፡ ፡

can you not bring him back ? ( answer ) if you are truthful
እውነተኞች እንደ ኾናችሁ ( ነፍሲቱን ወደ አካሉ ) ለምን አትመልሷትም ፡ ፡

allah forbids you from it and warns you not to repeat the like of it forever , if you are believers .
ምእመናን እንደኾናችሁ ወደ ብጤው በፍፁም እንዳትመለሱ አላህ ይገስጻችኋል ፡ ፡

" why do you not bring angels to us if you are of the truthful ones ? "
« ከእውነተኞቹ እንደ ኾንክ በመላእክት ( መስካሪ ) ለምን አትመጣንም » ( አሉ ) ፡ ፡

" and do you get for yourselves palaces ( fine buildings ) as if you will live therein for ever .
« የውሃ ማጠራቀሚያዎችንና ሕንፃዎችንም ዘላለም መኖርን የምትከጅሉ ኾናችሁ ትሠራላችሁን

but if you turn your backs [ on me ] , then [ know that ] i have communicated to you whatever i was sent to you with . my lord will make another people succeed you , and you will not hurt allah in the least .
« ብትዞሩም በእርሱ ወደእናንተ የተላክሁበትን ነገር በእርግጥ አድርሼላችኋለሁ ፡ ፡ ጌታዬ ከእናንተ ሌላ ሕዝብም ይተካል ምንም አትጎዱትምም ፡ ፡ ጌታዬ በነገሩ ሁሉ ላይ ተጠባባቂ ነውና » ( አላቸው ) ፡ ፡
