እነርሱም ከርሷ ራቂዎች አይደሉም ፡ ፡

ሲሳያችሁንም ( ዝናምን ) እናንተ የምታስተባብሉት ታደርጋላችሁን ?

and drink boiling water on top of it ,
« በእርሱ ላይም ከፈላ ውሃ ጠጪዎች ናችሁ ፡ ፡

( a half of it , or diminish a little ,
ግማሹን ( ቁም ) ፤ ወይም ከርሱ ጥቂትን ቀንስ ፡ ፡

about what ! you are one to remind of it .
አንተ እርሷን ከማስታወስ በምን ውስጥ ነህ ?

and they eat of it , and of it fill their bellies ,
እነርሱም ከእርሷ በይዎች ናቸው ፤ ሆዶችንም ከእርሷ ሞይዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

again on us ( devolves ) the explaining of it .
ከዚያም ማብራራቱ በእኛ ላይ ነው ፡ ፡

and we created for them the like of it , in which they ride .
ከመሰሉም በእርሱ የሚሳፈሩበትን ለእነርሱ ፈጠርንላቸው ፡ ፡

and hearkens to the command of its lord , doing what it should .
ለጌታዋም በሰማች ጊዜ ፤ ( መስማት ) ተገባትም ፤ ( ሰው ሁሉ ሥራውን ይገናኛል ) ፡ ፡

" and you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while .
« ትንቢቱንም ( እውነት መኾኑን ) ከጊዜ በኋላ በእርግጥ ታውቁታላችሁ ፡ ፡ »

being disdainful of it , talking nonsense in your nightly sessions . ’
በእርሱ ( በክልሉ ቤት ) ኩሩዎች ሌሊት ተጫዋቾች ( ቁርኣንንም ) የምትተው ኾናችሁ ( ትመለሱ ነበራችሁ ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

all this-- the evil of it-- is hateful in the sight of your lord .
ይህ ሁሉ መጥፎው ( አሥራ ሁለቱ ክልክሎች ) እጌታህ ዘንድ የተጠላ ነው ፡ ፡

and for him is no fear of its consequences .
ፍጻሜዋንም ( የምታስከትለውን ) አያፈራም ፡ ፡

and there can be no denying of its befalling .
ለመውደቋ አስተባባይ ( ነፍስ ) የለችም ፡ ፡

the exposition of its meaning surely rests on us .
ከዚያም ማብራራቱ በእኛ ላይ ነው ፡ ፡
