ሰው ስድ ኾኖ መትተውን ይጠረጥራልን ?

and owes no favour to anyone , which is to be repaid ,
ለአንድም ሰው እርሱ ዘንድ የምትመለስ ውለታ የለችም ፡ ፡

does man think that he is to be left to wander without an aim ?
ሰው ስድ ኾኖ መትተውን ይጠረጥራልን ?

neither any hardship is to reach them in it , nor are they to be expelled from it .
« በእርሷም ውስጥ ድካም አይነካቸውም ፡ ፡ እነሱም ከእርሷ የሚወጡ አይደሉም ፡ ፡ »

and inform them that the water is to be shared between ( her and ) them . every drinking will be witnessed .
ውሃውንም በመካከላቸው የተከፈለ መኾኑን ንገራቸው ፡ ፡ ከውሃ የኾነ ፋንታ ሁሉ ( ተረኞቹ ) የሚጣዱት ነው ፡ ፡

his command , when he wills a thing , is to say to it , “ be , ” and it comes to be .
ነገሩም አንዳችን በሻ ጊዜ ኹን ማለት ነው ፡ ፡ ወዲያው ይኾናልም ፡ ፡

and inform them that the water is to be shared between them ; each share of drink made available .
ውሃውንም በመካከላቸው የተከፈለ መኾኑን ንገራቸው ፡ ፡ ከውሃ የኾነ ፋንታ ሁሉ ( ተረኞቹ ) የሚጣዱት ነው ፡ ፡

and tell them that the water [ of the well ] is to be divided between them , and that each one should drink in turn . "
ውሃውንም በመካከላቸው የተከፈለ መኾኑን ንገራቸው ፡ ፡ ከውሃ የኾነ ፋንታ ሁሉ ( ተረኞቹ ) የሚጣዱት ነው ፡ ፡

and his people gave no answer but this : they said , " drive them out of your city : these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure ! "
የሕዝቦቹም መልስ « ( ሎጥንና ተከታዮቹን ) ከከተማችሁ አውጧቸው ፡ ፡ እነሱ የሚጥራሩ ሰዎች ናቸውና » ማለት እንጂ ሌላ አልነበረም ፡ ፡

but the blame is to be laid on those who asked permission of you whilst they are rich . they are content to remain with those who stay behind .
( የወቀሳ ) መንገዱ በእነዚያ እነሱ ባለጸጋዎች ኾነው ሳሉ ለመቅረት ፈቃድ በሚጠይቁህ ሰዎች ላይ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ከቀሪዎቹ ጋር መኾናቸውን ወደዱ ፡ ፡ አላህም በልቦቻቸው ላይ አተመባቸው ፤ ስለዚህ እነሱ አያውቁም ፡ ፡

it is not virtuous that you approach homes from their backs , but virtue is to be pious . so approach homes from their doors , and observe god , that you may succeed .
( ሙሐመድ ሆይ ! ) ከለጋ ጨረቃዎች ( መለዋወጥ ) ይጠየቁሃል ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ለሰዎች ጥቅም ለሐጅም ( ማወቂያ ) ጊዜያቶች ( ምልክቶች ) ናቸው በላቸው ፡ ፡ መልካም ሥራም ቤቶችን ከጀርባዎቻቸው በመምጣታችሁ አይደለም ፡ ፡ ግን የመልካም ሥራ ባለቤት የተጠነቀቀ ሰው ነው ፡ ፡ ቤቶችንም ከደጃፎቻቸው በኩል ግቡ ፤ አላህንም ፍሩ ልትድኑ ይከጀላልና ( በላቸው ) ፡ ፡

but his people gave no other answer but this : they said , " drive out the followers of lut from your city : these are indeed men who want to be clean and pure ! "
የሕዝቦቹም መልስ የሉጥን ቤተሰቦች « ከከተማችሁ አውጡ ፡ ፡ እነርሱ የሚጥራሩ ሰዎች ናቸውና » ማለት እንጅ ሌላ አልነበረም ፡ ፡

judge thou with truth . our lord is the beneficent , whose help is to be implored against that which ye ascribe ( unto him ) .
« ጌታዬ ሆይ ! በእውነት ፍረድ ፤ ጌታችንም እጅግ በጣም ሩኅሩኅ በምትሉት ነገር ላይ መታገዣ ነው » አለ ፡ ፡

except whom your lord has given mercy , and for that he created them . but the word of your lord is to be fulfilled that , " i will surely fill hell with jinn and men all together . "
ጌታህ ያዘነለት ብቻ ሲቀር ፤ ( ከመለያየት አይወገዱም ) ፡ ፡ ለዚሁም ፈጠራቸው ፡ ፡ የጌታህም ቃል ገሀነምን ከአጋንንትና ከሰዎች ከሁሉም በእርግጥ እሞላታለሁ በማለት ተፈጸመች ፡ ፡

and inform them that the water is to be shared between ( her and ) them . each one 's right to drink being established ( by turns ) .
ውሃውንም በመካከላቸው የተከፈለ መኾኑን ንገራቸው ፡ ፡ ከውሃ የኾነ ፋንታ ሁሉ ( ተረኞቹ ) የሚጣዱት ነው ፡ ፡

( my course is ) comely patience . and allah it is whose help is to be sought in that ( predicament ) which ye describe .
በቀሚሱም ላይ የውሸትን ደም አመጡ ፡ ፡ ( አባታቸው ) « አይደለም ፤ ነፍሶቻችሁ ( ውሸት ) ነገርን ለእናንተ ሸለሙላችሁ ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ መልካም ትዕግስት ( ማድረግ አለብኝ ) በምትሉትም ነገር ላይ መታገዣው አላህ ብቻ ነው » አለ ፡ ፡

and tell them that the water is to be divided between them : each one 's right to drink being brought forward ( by suitable turns ) .
ውሃውንም በመካከላቸው የተከፈለ መኾኑን ንገራቸው ፡ ፡ ከውሃ የኾነ ፋንታ ሁሉ ( ተረኞቹ ) የሚጣዱት ነው ፡ ፡

those unto whom they cry seek the way of approach to their lord , which of them shall be the nearest ; they hope for his mercy and they fear his doom . lo ! the doom of thy lord is to be shunned .
እነዚያ እነርሱ የሚግገዟቸው ማንኛቸውም ( ወደ አላህ ) በጣም ቀራቢያቸው ወደ ጌታቸው መቃረቢያን ( ሥራ ) ይፈልጋሉ ፡ ፡ እዝነቱንም ይከጅላሉ ፡ ፡ ቅጣቱንም ይፈራሉ ፡ ፡ የጌታህ ቅጣት የሚፈራ ነውና ፡ ፡

the believers should not take the unbelievers as guides in preference to the believers he who does this does not belong to allah in anything , unless you have a fear of them . allah warns you to be cautious of him , the arrival is to allah .
ምእምናን ከሓዲዎችን ከምእምናን ሌላ ረዳቶች አድርገው አይያዙ ፡ ፡ ይኼንንም የሚሠራ ሰው ከአላህ ( ሃይማኖት ) በምንም ውስጥ አይደለም ፡ ፡ ከእነርሱ መጥጠበቅን ብትጠበቁ እንጂ ፡ ፡ አላህም ነፍሱን ( ቁጣውን ) ያስጠነቅቃችኋል ፡ ፡ መመለሻም ወደ አላህ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡

and they brought his shirt with false blood . he said : nay ! your selves have embellished for you an affair ; so seemly patience ! and allah is to be implored for help in that which ye ascribe
በቀሚሱም ላይ የውሸትን ደም አመጡ ፡ ፡ ( አባታቸው ) « አይደለም ፤ ነፍሶቻችሁ ( ውሸት ) ነገርን ለእናንተ ሸለሙላችሁ ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ መልካም ትዕግስት ( ማድረግ አለብኝ ) በምትሉትም ነገር ላይ መታገዣው አላህ ብቻ ነው » አለ ፡ ፡
