surely we ourselves have revealed the quran to you revealing ( it ) in portions .
እኛ ቁርኣንን ባንተ ላይ ማውረድን እኛው አወረድነው ፡ ፡

in revealing this quran to you , we tell you the best of the stories of which you were unaware .
እኛ ይህንን ቁርኣን ወደ አንተ በማውረዳችን በጣም መልካም ዜናዎችን በአንተ ላይ እንተርክልሃለን ፡ ፡ እነሆ ከእርሱ በፊት ( ካለፉት ሕዝቦች ታሪክ ) በእርግጥ ከዘንጊዎቹ ነበርክ ፡ ፡

so has god , all-mighty and all-wise , been revealing to you and to others before you .
እንደዚሁ ( በዚህች ሱራ ውስጥ እንዳለው ) አሸናፊው ጥበበኛው አላህ ወዳንተ ያወርዳል ፡ ፡ ወደእነዚያም ከአንተ በፊት ወደ ነበሩት ሕዝቦች ( አውርዷል ) ፡ ፡

we narrate to you the best of narratives , by our revealing to you this quran , though before this you were certainly one of those who did not know .
እኛ ይህንን ቁርኣን ወደ አንተ በማውረዳችን በጣም መልካም ዜናዎችን በአንተ ላይ እንተርክልሃለን ፡ ፡ እነሆ ከእርሱ በፊት ( ካለፉት ሕዝቦች ታሪክ ) በእርግጥ ከዘንጊዎቹ ነበርክ ፡ ፡

and it is a quran which we have revealed in portions so that you may read it to the people by slow degrees , and we have revealed it , revealing in portions .
ቁርኣንንም በሰዎች ላይ በዝግታ ላይ ኾነህ ታነበው ዘንድ ከፋፈልነው ፡ ፡ ቀስ በቀስ ማውረድንም አወረድነው ፡ ፡

we ! we recount unto thee the best of stories , by revealing unto thee this our 'an , although thou wast before that of the unaware ones .
እኛ ይህንን ቁርኣን ወደ አንተ በማውረዳችን በጣም መልካም ዜናዎችን በአንተ ላይ እንተርክልሃለን ፡ ፡ እነሆ ከእርሱ በፊት ( ካለፉት ሕዝቦች ታሪክ ) በእርግጥ ከዘንጊዎቹ ነበርክ ፡ ፡

there is no blame on elderly women who are past the age of marriage , if they take off their outer clothing , without revealing their adornments . but it would be better for them to guard themselves .
ከሴቶችም እነዚያ ጋብቻን የማይፈልጉት ተቀማጮች ( ባልቴቶች ) ፤ በጌጥ የተገለፁ ሳይኾኑ የላይ ልብሶቻቸውን ቢጥሉ በእነሱ ላይ ኀጢአት የለባቸውም ፡ ፡ ግን መጠበቃቸው ለእነርሱ የተሻለ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህም ሰሚ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

and it is not for any mortal that allah should speak to him except by revelation or from behind a veil , or by sending a messenger and revealing by his permission what he pleases ; surely he is high , wise .
ለሰውም አላህ በራእይ ፣ ወይም ከግርዶ ወዲያ ፣ ወይም መልክተኛን ( መልአክን ) የሚልክና በፈቃዱ የሚሻውን ነገር የሚያወርድለት ቢኾን እንጅ ( በገሃድ ) ሊያናግረው ተገቢው አይደለም ፡ ፡ እርሱ የበላይ ጥበበኛ ነውና ፡ ፡

( o muhammad ) , by revealing the qur 'an to you we narrate to you in the best manner the stories of the past although before this narration you were utterly unaware of them .
እኛ ይህንን ቁርኣን ወደ አንተ በማውረዳችን በጣም መልካም ዜናዎችን በአንተ ላይ እንተርክልሃለን ፡ ፡ እነሆ ከእርሱ በፊት ( ካለፉት ሕዝቦች ታሪክ ) በእርግጥ ከዘንጊዎቹ ነበርክ ፡ ፡

and this noble qur ’ an is not such that anyone can invent it , without allah revealing it – but it surely is a confirmation of the books preceding it and is an explanation of all that is written on the ( preserved ) tablet – there is no doubt in it – it is from the lord of the creation .
ይህም ቁርኣን ከአላህ ሌላ ( ከሆነ ፍጡር ) የተቀጠፈ ሊሆን አይገባውም ፡ ፡ ግን ያንን ከእርሱ በፊት ያለውን ( መጽሐፍ ) የሚያረጋግጥና በመጽሐፉ ውስጥ ያለውን የሚዘረዝር በእርሱ ጥርጣሬ የሌለበት ሲሆን ከዓለማት ጌታ ( የተወረደ ) ነው ፡ ፡
