verily you will die , and so will they .
አንተ ሟች ነህ ፤ እነርሱም ሟቾች ናቸው ፡ ፡

so will you dispute with him over what he saw ?
ታዲያ በሚያየው ላይ ትከራከሩታላችሁን ?

then we made you successors in the land after them so that we may observe how you will do .
ከዚያም እንዴት እንደምትሠሩ ልንመለከት ከእነሱ በኋላ በምድር ላይ ምትኮች አደረግናችሁ ፡ ፡

do not say of anything : ' i will do it tomorrow '
ለማንኛውም ነገር « እኔ ይህንን ነገ ሠሪ ነኝም » አትበል ፡ ፡

and do not say of anything : surely i will do it tomorrow ,
ለማንኛውም ነገር « እኔ ይህንን ነገ ሠሪ ነኝም » አትበል ፡ ፡

and so will his wife ; carrying a bundle of firewood on her head .
ሚስቱም ( ትገባለች ) ፤ እንጨት ተሸካሚ ስትኾን ፡ ፡

and never say about anything , “ i will do that tomorrow . ”
ለማንኛውም ነገር « እኔ ይህንን ነገ ሠሪ ነኝም » አትበል ፡ ፡

and among them are some who listen to you ; so will you make the deaf hear even if they do not have any sense ?
ከእነሱም ወደ አንተ የሚያዳምጡ ( እና የማያምኑ ) አልሉ ፡ ፡ አንተ ደንቆሮዎችን የማያውቁ ቢኾኑም ታሰማለህን

and never say of anything , " indeed , i will do that tomorrow , "
ለማንኛውም ነገር « እኔ ይህንን ነገ ሠሪ ነኝም » አትበል ፡ ፡

then is he who creates like one who does not create ? so will you not be reminded ?
የሚፈጥር እንደማይፈጥር ነውን አትገሰጹምን

and he to whom we grant long life we reverse in creation ; so will they not understand ?
ዕድሜውንም የምናረዝመውን ሰው በፍጥረቱ ( ወደ ደካማነት ) እንመልሰዋለን ፤ አያውቁምን ?

do not let your wealth or your children distract you from remembrance of god . those who do so will be the losers .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ገንዘቦቻችሁና ልጆቻችሁ አላህን ከማስታወስ አያታሉዋችሁ ፡ ፡ ይህንንም የሚሠሩ ሰዎች እነዚያ እነርሱ ከሳሪዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

and for them in the animals are numerous different benefits and drinks ; so will they not be grateful ?
ለእነርሱም በእርሷ ውስጥ ( ሌሎች ) ጥቅሞች መጠጦችም አሉዋቸው ፡ ፡ ታዲያ አያመሰግኑምን ;

and we taught him to make a garment for you , to protect you from your hurt ; so will you be thankful ?
የብረት ልብስንም ሥራ ለእናንተ ከጦራችሁ ትጠብቃችሁ ዘንድ አስተማርነው ፡ ፡ እናንተ አመስጋኞች ናችሁን

and do not call besides allah on that which can neither benefit you nor harm you , for if you do then surely you will in that case be of the unjust .
« ከአላህም በቀር የማይጠቅምንና የማይጎዳን አትገዛ ፡ ፡ ብትሠራም አንተ ያንጊዜ ከበደለኞቹ ትሆናለህ » ( ተብያለሁ በላቸው ) ፡ ፡

god will say , " just as our signs came to you and you ignored them , so will you on this day be ignored . "
( ነገሩ ) እንደዚሁ ነው ፡ ፡ « ታምራታችን መጣችልህ ፡ ፡ ተውካትም ፡ ፡ እንደዚሁም ዛሬ ትተዋለህ » ይለዋል ፡ ፡

do then those who devise evil plots feel secure that allah will not sink them into the earth , or that the torment will not seize them from directions they perceive not ?
እነዚያ መጥፎዎችን የዶለቱ አላህ በእነሱ ምድርን የሚገለብጥባቸው ወይም ከማያውቁት ስፍራ ቅጣት የሚመጣባቸው መኾኑን አይፈሩምን

and that it is not at all difficult for god to replace you with another creature if he so wills ?
ይህም በአላህ ላይ አስቸጋሪ አይደለም ፡ ፡

and had your lord willed , those on earth would have believed , all of them together . so , will you ( o muhammad saw ) then compel mankind , until they become believers .
ጌታህም በሻ ኖሮ በምድር ያሉት ሰዎች ሁሉም የተሰበሰቡ ሆነው ባመኑ ነበር ፡ ፡ ታዲያ አንተ ሰዎችን አማኞች እንዲኾኑ ታስገድዳለህን
