how are you and your family
ቤተሰባችሁ ምን እያደረገ ነው?

indeed you and what you worship
እናንተም የምትገዟቸውም ሁሉ ፤

surely , you and what you serve .
እናንተም የምትገዟቸውም ሁሉ ፤

so surely you and what you worship ,
እናንተም የምትገዟቸውም ሁሉ ፤

and allah has created you and what you make .
« አላህ እናንተንም የምትሠሩትንም የፈጠረ ሲኾን ፡ ፡ »

when allah hath created you and what ye make ?
« አላህ እናንተንም የምትሠሩትንም የፈጠረ ሲኾን ፡ ፡ »

when god created you , and what you manufacture ? ”
« አላህ እናንተንም የምትሠሩትንም የፈጠረ ሲኾን ፡ ፡ »

" when god has created you and what you make ? "
« አላህ እናንተንም የምትሠሩትንም የፈጠረ ሲኾን ፡ ፡ »

" while allah has created you and what you make ! "
« አላህ እናንተንም የምትሠሩትንም የፈጠረ ሲኾን ፡ ፡ »

o you twain , who are a burden ( on the earth ) , we shall attend to you and call you to account .
እናንተ ሁለት ከባዶች ( ሰዎችና ጋኔኖች ) ሆይ ! ለእናንተ ( መቆጣጠር ) በእርግጥ እናስባለን ፡ ፡

and who believe in what has been sent down to you and what was sent down before you , and are certain of the hereafter .
ለእነዚያም ወደ አንተ በተወረደውና ከአንተ በፊትም በተወረደው የሚያምኑ በመጨረሻይቱም ( ዓለም ) እነርሱ የሚያረጋግጡ ለኾኑት ( መሪ ነው ) ፡ ፡

who believe in what has been revealed to you and what was revealed to those before you , and are certain of the hereafter .
ለእነዚያም ወደ አንተ በተወረደውና ከአንተ በፊትም በተወረደው የሚያምኑ በመጨረሻይቱም ( ዓለም ) እነርሱ የሚያረጋግጡ ለኾኑት ( መሪ ነው ) ፡ ፡

we shall try you in order to know who are the fighters among you , and who are men of fortitude , and verify your histories .
ከእናንተም ታጋዮቹንና ታጋሾቹን እስከምናውቅ ፣ ወሬዎቻችሁንም እስከምንገልጽ ድረስ በእርግጥ እንሞክራችኋለን ፡ ፡

surely you and what you worship besides allah are the firewood of hell ; to it you shall come .
እናንተ ከአላህ ሌላ የምትግገዟቸውም ( ጣዖታት ) የገሀነም ማገዶዎች ናችሁ ፡ ፡ እናንተ ለእርሷ ወራጆች ናችሁ ፡ ፡

fie on you and what you worship besides allah ! do you not exercise your reason ? ’
« ፎህ ! ለእናንተ ከአላህ ሌላ ለምትገዙትም ነገር ፤ አታውቁምን » ( አለ ) ፡ ፡

and do not incline to those who are unjust , lest the fire touch you , and you have no guardians besides allah , then you shall not be helped .
ወደእነዚያም ወደ በደሉት አትጠጉ ፡ ፡ እሳት ትነካችኋለችና ፡ ፡ ከአላህም ሌላ ጠባቂዎች የሏችሁም ፡ ፡ ከዚያም አትረድዱም ፡ ፡

and i will withdraw from you and what you call on besides allah , and i will call upon my lord ; may be i shall not remain unblessed in calling upon my lord .
« እናንተንም ከአላህ ሌላ የምትግገዙትንም እርቃለሁ ፡ ፡ ጌታዬንም እግገዛለሁ ፡ ፡ ጌታዬን በመገዛት የማፍር አለመኾኔን እከጅላለሁ ፡ ፡ »

and when it is said to them : guard against what is before you and what is behind you , that mercy may be had on you .
ለእነርሱም « በስተፊታችሁና በኋለችሁ ያለውን ነገር ተጠንቀቁ ይታዘንላችኋልና » በተባሉ ጊዜ ( ፊታቸውን ያዞራሉ ) ፡ ፡

and what did they dislike from the muslims , except that the muslims accepted faith in allah the most honourable , the most praiseworthy ?
ከእነርሱም በአላህ አሸናፊው ፣ ምስጉኑ በኾነው ( ጌታ ) ማመናቸውን እንጅ ሌላ ምንም አልጠሉም ፡ ፡
