it shall be said to them , ' where is that you were serving
ለእነሱም በሚባል ቀን « ትግገዟቸው የነበራችሁት የት ናቸው »

and they shall be told : ‘ where is that which you used to worship
ለእነሱም በሚባል ቀን « ትግገዟቸው የነበራችሁት የት ናቸው »

and it shall be said unto them where is that which ye were wont to worship ?
ለእነሱም በሚባል ቀን « ትግገዟቸው የነበራችሁት የት ናቸው »

then it will be said to them , " where is that which you used to associate [ with him in worship ]
ከዚያም ለእነርሱ ይባላሉ ( በአላህ ) « ታጋሯቸው የነበራችሁት የታሉ ? »

he said : better is that where in my lord hath established me ; so help me with might , and i shall place between you and them a rampart .
አለ « ጌታዬ በእርሱ ያስመቸኝ ሀብት ( ከናንተ ግብር ) በላጭ ነው ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ በጉልበት እገዙኝ ፡ ፡ በእናንተና በእነሱ መካከል ብርቱን ግድብ አደርጋለሁና ፡ ፡

when our messengers come to take them away , they will say , ‘ where is that which you used to invoke besides allah ? ’ they will say , ‘ they have forsaken us , ’ and they will testify against themselves that they were faithless .
በአላህ ላይ ውሸትን ከቀጠፈ ወይም በአንቀጾቹ ከአስዋሸ ሰው ይበልጥ በዳይ ማን ነው እነዚያ ( ከተጻፈላቸው ) ከመጽሐፉ ውስጥ ሲኾን ዕድላቸው ያገኛቸዋል ፡ ፡ ( የሞት ) መልክተኞቻችንም የሚገድሏቸው ኾነው በመጡባቸው ጊዜ « ከአላህ ሌላ ትገዟቸው የነበራችሁት የት አሉ » ይሏቸዋል ፡ ፡ « ከእኛ ተሰወሩን » ይላሉ ፡ ፡ እነርሱም ከሃዲያን እንደነበሩ በነፍሶቻቸው ላይ ይመሰክራሉ ፡ ፡

( as for ) those , their portion of the book shall reach them , until when our apostles come to them causing them to die , they shall say : where is that which you used to call upon besides allah ? they would say : they are gone away from us ; and they shall bear witness against themselves that they were unbelievers
በአላህ ላይ ውሸትን ከቀጠፈ ወይም በአንቀጾቹ ከአስዋሸ ሰው ይበልጥ በዳይ ማን ነው እነዚያ ( ከተጻፈላቸው ) ከመጽሐፉ ውስጥ ሲኾን ዕድላቸው ያገኛቸዋል ፡ ፡ ( የሞት ) መልክተኞቻችንም የሚገድሏቸው ኾነው በመጡባቸው ጊዜ « ከአላህ ሌላ ትገዟቸው የነበራችሁት የት አሉ » ይሏቸዋል ፡ ፡ « ከእኛ ተሰወሩን » ይላሉ ፡ ፡ እነርሱም ከሃዲያን እንደነበሩ በነፍሶቻቸው ላይ ይመሰክራሉ ፡ ፡
