তারা বলল-হে শোয়ায়েব ( আঃ ) আপনার নামায কি আপনাকে ইহাই শিক ্ ষা দেয় যে , আমরা ঐসব উপাস ্ যদেরকে পরিত ্ যাগ করব আমাদের বাপ-দাদারা যাদের উপাসনা করত ? অথবা আমাদের ধন-সম ্ পদে ইচ ্ ছামত যা কিছু করে থাকি , তা ছেড়ে দেব ? আপনি তো একজন খাস মহৎ ব ্ যক ্ তি ও সৎপথের পথিক ।

how can you disbelieve when you are the ones to whom the signs of allah are recited and amidst you is his messenger ? whoever holds fast to allah will certainly be guided to the straight way .
আর তোমরা কেমন করে কাফের হতে পার , অথচ তোমাদের সামনে পাঠ করা হয় আল ্ লাহর আয়াত সমূহ এবং তোমাদের মধ ্ যে রয়েছেন আল ্ লাহর রসূল । আর যারা আল ্ লাহর কথা দৃঢ়ভাবে ধরবে , তারা হেদায়েত প ্ রাপ ্ ত হবে সরল পথের ।

তারাই কেবল মুমিন যারা আল ্ লাহ ্ ‌ তে ও তাঁর রসূলে ঈমান আনে , আর যখন তারা কোনো সমষ ্ টিগত ব ্ যাপারে তাঁর সঙ ্ গে থাকে তখন তারা চলে যায় না যতক ্ ষণ না তারা তাঁর থেকে অনুমতি নিয়েছে । নিঃসন ্ দেহ যারা তোমার অনুমতি প ্ রার ্ থনা করে তারাই হচ ্ ছে ওরা যারা আল ্ লাহ ্ ‌ তে ও তাঁর রসূলে ঈমান এনেছে , সুতরাং তারা যখন তাদের কোনো ব ্ যাপারের জন ্ য তোমার অনুমতি প ্ রার ্ থনা করে তখন অনুমতি দাও তাদের মধ ্ যের যাকে তুমি ইচ ্ ছা কর , আর তাদের জন ্ য আল ্ লাহ ্ ‌ র ক ্ ষমা প ্ রার ্ থনা কর । নিঃসন ্ দেহ আল ্ লাহ ্ পরিত ্ রাণকারী , অফুরন ্ ত ফলদাতা ।
