and when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.

but thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,

and because i doubted of such manner of questions, i asked him whether he would go to jerusalem, and there be judged of these matters.

for after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in god, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:

and when they were come to him, he said unto them, ye know, from the first day that i came into asia, after what manner i have been with you at all seasons,
