경주하여 인도하는 천사들을 두고 맹세하며

and a few of those (foremost) will be from the later time (generations).
후세의 사람들은 소수더라

to god, these are the ones who really compete with each other in virtuous deeds and are the foremost ones in the task.
이들은 서둘러 선을 행하며 앞장서 실천하노라

앞서는 자가 될 것이라 너 희는 앞서는 자에 대하여 아느뇨

"only, our desire is that our lord will forgive us our faults, that we may become foremost among the believers!"
진실로 저희는 주님께서 저 희의 죄를 사하여 주시어 저희가 최초로 믿는 자들이 되기를 바라 나이다
