އެއުރެންނަކީ އެއުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް غيب ގައި ބިރުވެތިވާ މީހުންނެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންވަނީ، قيامة ދުވަހަށް ބިރުވެތިވެގެންނެވެ.

saying: lo! of old, when we were with our families, we were ever anxious;
އެއުރެން ބުނާނެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ކުރިން ތިމަންމެން، ތިމަންމެންގެ أهل ވެރިންގެ ތެރޭގައި އުޅުނުއިރު (اللَّه ގެ عذاب އަށް) ބިރުވެތިވެގެންވީމުއެވެ.

and those who give whatsoever they give, while their hearts are anxious that unto their lord they are to be retutners
އަދި އެއުރެންނީ އެއުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށް، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެން އެނބުރިދާނޭކަމާމެދު އެއުރެންގެ ހިތްތައް ބިރުވެތިވެގެންވާ حال (صدقات ގެ ގޮތުން) އެއުރެން ދޭއެއްޗެއް ދޭމީހުންނެވެ.

if thou art anxious for their guidance, yet allah guideth not such as he leaves to stray, and there is none to help them.
އެއުރެންނަށް ތެދުމަގު ލިބުމުގެ މައްޗަށް ކަލޭގެފާނު شوق ވެރިވެ ވަޑައިގަތަސް، ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه، އެކަލާނގެ މަގުފުރައްދަވާ މީހަކަށް ތެދުމަގެއް ނުދައްކަވަތެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް نصر ދޭނޭ އެއްވެސް ބަޔަކު ނުވެތެވެ.

there has come to you a messenger from among yourselves, concerned over your suffering, anxious over you. towards the believers, he is compassionate and merciful.
ހަމަތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިންވާ رسول އަކު ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ގާތަށް ވަޑައިގެންފިއެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އުނދަގޫވެ ދަތިވެއްޖެ ކޮންމެ ކަމެއް، އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް ބޮޑުކަމަކަށް ވެއެވެ. އެކަލޭގެފާނީ (ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ތެދުމަގު ލިބުމުގެ މައްޗަށް) ދަހިވެތިވެވަޑައިގެންވާ ބޭކަލެކެވެ. مؤمن ންނަށް ނުހަނު އޯގާވެރި، رحم ހުރި ބޭކަލެކެވެ.

and when our envoys came to lot, he was anxious for them, and concerned for them. he said, “this is a dreadful day.”
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ رسول ން (އެބަހީ: ملائكة ން) لوط ގެފާނުގެ އަރިހަށް ވަޑައިގަތްހިނދު (قوم ގެމީހުންގެ فاسد ކަމުގެ ސަބަބުން، އެބޭކަލުންނަށް ދެރަގޮތެއް ވެދާނެތީ) އެބޭކަލުންނާމެދު ދެރަފުޅުވެ ހިތާމަކުރެއްވިއެވެ. އަދި އެބޭކަލުންނާމެދު ހިތްޕުޅު ދަތިވިއެވެ. އަދި ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ. މިއީ ވަރަށް ހިތާމަވެރި ދުވަހެކެވެ.

indeed, there has come to you a messenger from your own, he grieves for your suffering, and is anxious about you, and is gentle, merciful to the believers.
ހަމަތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިންވާ رسول އަކު ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ގާތަށް ވަޑައިގެންފިއެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އުނދަގޫވެ ދަތިވެއްޖެ ކޮންމެ ކަމެއް، އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް ބޮޑުކަމަކަށް ވެއެވެ. އެކަލޭގެފާނީ (ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ތެދުމަގު ލިބުމުގެ މައްޗަށް) ދަހިވެތިވެވަޑައިގެންވާ ބޭކަލެކެވެ. مؤمن ންނަށް ނުހަނު އޯގާވެރި، رحم ހުރި ބޭކަލެކެވެ.

ހަމަތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިންވާ رسول އަކު ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ގާތަށް ވަޑައިގެންފިއެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އުނދަގޫވެ ދަތިވެއްޖެ ކޮންމެ ކަމެއް، އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް ބޮޑުކަމަކަށް ވެއެވެ. އެކަލޭގެފާނީ (ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ތެދުމަގު ލިބުމުގެ މައްޗަށް) ދަހިވެތިވެވަޑައިގެންވާ ބޭކަލެކެވެ. مؤمن ންނަށް ނުހަނު އޯގާވެރި، رحم ހުރި ބޭކަލެކެވެ.

it grieves him that you should receive any injury or difficulty. he (muhammad saw) is anxious over you (to be rightly guided, to repent to allah, and beg him to pardon and forgive your sins, in order that you may enter paradise and be saved from the punishment of the hell-fire), for the believers (he saw is) full of pity, kind, and merciful.
