(يوسف ގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ.) އެއީ ތިމަން غيب ގައި އޭނާއަށް (އެބަހީ: العزيز އަށް) خيانة ތެރި ނުވާކަމާއި، އަދި خيانة ތެރިންގެ މަކަރުވެރި ރޭވުން اللَّه ފަހިކޮށް ނުދެއްވާނެކަން، އޭނާއަށް އެނގުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

we have revealed to you the book in all truth so that you judge among people by the laws of god. however, never defend the treacherous ones.

(غنيمة) މުދަލަށް خيانة ތެރިވުމަކީ، ނަބީބޭކަލަކަށް އޮތްކަމެއް ނޫނެވެ. އަދި، މުދަލަށް خيانة ތެރިވާ މީހާ އެމީހަކު خيانة ތެރިވި ތަކެއްޗާއިގެން قيامة ދުވަހުން (އެކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށް) އަންނާނެތެވެ. ދެން، ކޮންމެ نفس އަކަށްމެ އެ نفس އެއް ހޯދިކަމެއް (ގެ ޖަޒާ) ފުރިހަމަޔަށް ލިބިދެއްވާނެތެވެ. އެއުރެންނަށް ބޭއިންސާފު ނުކުރައްވާ ގޮތުގައެވެ.

and do not plead on behalf of those who act unfaithfully to their souls; surely allah does not love him who is treacherous, sinful;
އެއުރެންގެ އަމިއްލަ نفس ތަކަށް خيانة ތެރިވާ މީހުންގެ ފަރާތުން، ކަލޭގެފާނު ޖަދަލު ނުކުރައްވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ފާފަވެރިވެ خيانة ތެރިވާ މީހަކު ދެކެ اللَّه ލޯބިވެވޮޑިގެނެއް ނުވެތެވެ.

and if you fear treachery from any people (with whom you have a covenant) then publicly throw their covenant at them. allah does not love the treacherous.
ބަޔަކުމީހުންގެ ކިބައިން خيانة ތެރިކަމެއް އަތުވެދާނެކަމަށް، ކަލޭގެފާނު ބިރުފުޅުގަންނަނަމަ (އެބަޔަކާއެކު ކޮށްފައިވާ معاهدة އެއް) އެބަޔަކުގެ މައްޗަށް އަނބުރާ ރައްދުކުރައްވާށެވެ! ހަމަހަމަވާގޮތުގެ މަތިންނެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، خيانة ތެރިންދެކެ اللَّه ލޯބިވެވޮޑިގެނެއް ނުވެތެވެ.

and if you fear treachery from a people, break off [the treaty] with them in a like manner. indeed allah does not like the treacherous.
ބަޔަކުމީހުންގެ ކިބައިން خيانة ތެރިކަމެއް އަތުވެދާނެކަމަށް، ކަލޭގެފާނު ބިރުފުޅުގަންނަނަމަ (އެބަޔަކާއެކު ކޮށްފައިވާ معاهدة އެއް) އެބަޔަކުގެ މައްޗަށް އަނބުރާ ރައްދުކުރައްވާށެވެ! ހަމަހަމަވާގޮތުގެ މަތިންނެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، خيانة ތެރިންދެކެ اللَّه ލޯބިވެވޮޑިގެނެއް ނުވެތެވެ.

they replied: "if a wolf should devour him when we are there, a well-knit band, we shall certainly be treacherous."
އެއުރެން ދެންނެވޫއެވެ. ތިމަންމެންނީ ބާރުހުރި ބަޔެއްކަމަށްވާހިނދު، މިނިކާވަގު (އައިސް) އޭނާ ކައިފިނަމަ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންމެންވާހުށީ (ކަމެއްނުކުރެވޭ) ގެއްލެނިވިގެންވާ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައެވެ.
