and he found thee wandering, so he guided thee,

did he not find you wandering, and give you guidance?

have you not seen them wandering and bewildered in every valley
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، (ބަހުގެ) ކޮންމެ وادى އެއްގައިމެ، ދެވޭނުދެވޭ ތަނެއް ނޭނގޭގޮތަށް، އެއުރެން އުޅޭތީ ކަލޭގެފާނު ދެކެވަޑައިނުގަންނަވަމުތޯއެވެ؟

by thy life, in their intoxication they were wandering bewildered.
ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ حياة ޕުޅު ގަންދެއްވައި وحى ކުރައްވަމެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންވަނީ، އެއުރެންގެ މަސްތުގެތެރޭގައި، حيران ވެ، ދެފުށުއެޅޭ حال ގައެވެ.

by your life! they were blindly wandering on in their intoxication.
ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ حياة ޕުޅު ގަންދެއްވައި وحى ކުރައްވަމެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންވަނީ، އެއުރެންގެ މަސްތުގެތެރޭގައި، حيران ވެ، ދެފުށުއެޅޭ حال ގައެވެ.

god shall mock them, and shall lead them on blindly wandering in their insolence.
اللَّه، އެއުރެން ކުޅަ ފުރައްސާރައިގެ ޖަޒާ އެއުރެންނަށް ދެއްވާހުށްޓެވެ. އަދި ދެފުށުއެޅޭ حال ގައި، އެއުރެންގެ އުރެދުމުގައި އުޅުމަށް އެއުރެންނަށް މުއްދަތު ދިގުކުރައްވާނެތެވެ.

they said: "by allah! truly thou art in thine old wandering mind."
އެއުރެން ދެންނެވޫއެވެ. اللَّه ގަންދީ ބުނަމުއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ކަލޭގެފާނުވަނީ، ކުރިންވެސް ކަލޭގެފާނު ހުންނެވި ކުށް خيال ގައިކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

none can guide those whom allah leaves in error. he leaves them in their insolence, wandering blindly.
اللَّه މަގުފުރައްދަވާމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެމީހަކަށް ތެދުމަގުދައްކާނޭ ފަރާތެއް ނުވެތެވެ. އަދި ދެވޭ ނުދެވޭ ތަނެއްނޭނގި ތިބޭ حال ގައި، ފުރެދުމުގެ ތެރެޔަށް އެކަލާނގެ އެއުރެން ދޫކުރައްވަތެވެ.

allah shall pay them back their mockery, and he leaves them alone in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on.
اللَّه، އެއުރެން ކުޅަ ފުރައްސާރައިގެ ޖަޒާ އެއުރެންނަށް ދެއްވާހުށްޓެވެ. އަދި ދެފުށުއެޅޭ حال ގައި، އެއުރެންގެ އުރެދުމުގައި އުޅުމަށް އެއުރެންނަށް މުއްދަތު ދިގުކުރައްވާނެތެވެ.

and even if we gave them mercy and removed what was upon them of affliction, they would persist in their transgression, wandering blindly.
އެއުރެންނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ رحمة ލައްވައި، އެއުރެންގެ ކިބައިގައިވާ ދަތިކަން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ފިއްލެވިނަމަވެސް، އެއުރެންގެ މަގުފުރެދުމުގައި ދެވޭނުދެވޭތަނެއް ނޭނގޭގޮތުގައި، އެއުރެން ދެމިތިބީހެވެ.

and if we have mercy upon them and remove the calamity which has befallen them, they would still stubbornly persist, wandering in their rebellion.
އެއުރެންނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ رحمة ލައްވައި، އެއުރެންގެ ކިބައިގައިވާ ދަތިކަން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ފިއްލެވިނަމަވެސް، އެއުރެންގެ މަގުފުރެދުމުގައި ދެވޭނުދެވޭތަނެއް ނޭނގޭގޮތުގައި، އެއުރެން ދެމިތިބީހެވެ.

and those among the wandering arabs who had an excuse came in order that permission might be granted them. and those who lied to allah and his messenger sat at home.
أعرابى ންގެ ތެރެއިން عذر ވެރިވެގަންނަ މީހުން (ހަނގުރާމަޔަށް ނުގޮސް ތިބުމަށް) އެއުރެންނަށް إذن ލިބުމަށްޓަކައި އައޫއެވެ. އަދި اللَّه އަށާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާއަށް ދޮގުހެދި މީހުން ނައިސް ތިބެއްޖައޫއެވެ. އެއުރެންގެ ތެރެއިން كافر ވި މީހުންނަށް، ވޭންދެނިވި عذاب އައިސް ޖެހޭހުށްޓެވެ.

and we will turn away their hearts and their eyes just as they refused to believe in it the first time. and we will leave them in their transgression, wandering blindly.
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންގެ ހިތްތަކާއި، ލޯތައް (حق ގެ މަގުން) އެއްކިބާކުރައްވަމެވެ. އެއުރެން އެ آية ތަކަށް ފުރަތަމަ ފަހަރުވެސް، إيمان ނުވި ފަދައިން (إيمان އެއް ނުވާނެތެވެ.) އަދި ދެފުށުއެޅި ތިބޭ حال އެއްގައި، އެއުރެންގެ ފުރެދުމުގެ ތެރެޔަށް، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެން ދޫކޮށްލައްވާހުށީމެވެ.

and we revert their hearts and their eyes – the way they had not believed the first time – and we leave them to keep wandering blindly in their rebellion.
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންގެ ހިތްތަކާއި، ލޯތައް (حق ގެ މަގުން) އެއްކިބާކުރައްވަމެވެ. އެއުރެން އެ آية ތަކަށް ފުރަތަމަ ފަހަރުވެސް، إيمان ނުވި ފަދައިން (إيمان އެއް ނުވާނެތެވެ.) އަދި ދެފުށުއެޅި ތިބޭ حال އެއްގައި، އެއުރެންގެ ފުރެދުމުގެ ތެރެޔަށް، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެން ދޫކޮށްލައްވާހުށީމެވެ.

allah said: 'this land will now be forbidden to them for forty years and they will remain wandering about on the earth. do not grieve over the condition of these transgressing people.
އެކަލާނގެ وحى ކުރެއްވިއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަން (އެބަހީ: مقدّس ވެގެންވާ ރަށުގެ ބިމަށް ވަނުން) އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް حرام ކުރައްވާފައިވެއެވެ. ސާޅީސް އަހަރުވާންދެނެވެ. ދެވޭނުދެވޭ ތަނެއް ނޭނގި ބިމުގައި ބެހިގެން އެއުރެން އުޅުމަށެވެ. ފަހެ، فاسق ވި قوم ގެމީހުންގެ މައްޗަށް ކަލޭގެފާނު ހިތާމަ ނުކުރައްވާށެވެ!

and were allah to hasten the ill unto mankind as their desire for hastening the good, their term would surely have been decreed unto them. so we let alone those who hope not for the meeting with us, wandering in their exorbitance perplexed.
ހެޔޮކަމާއި، ثواب އަވަސްކޮށްދެއްވުމަށް މީސްތަކުން އެދޭހިނދު، އެކަން އަވަސްކޮށްދެއްވާ ފަދައިން، اللَّه އެއުރެންނަށް ނުބަޔާއި، عقاب އަވަސްކޮށްދެއްވާނަމަ، އެއުރެންގެ أجل ޖެހި، އެހިނދު އެހިނދަށް ނިމިއްޖައީހެވެ. ފަހެ، (قيامة ދުވަހުން) ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެއާ ބައްދަލުވާން ނޭދޭމީހުން އެއުރެންގެ ފުރެދުމުގައި، ދެފުށު އެޅިއެޅިތިބޭ حال، އެއުރެން ދޫކޮށްލައްވައި، ބައިތިއްބަވާހުށީމެވެ.

and if allah should hasten the evil to men as they desire the hastening on of good, their doom should certainly have been decreed for them; but we leave those alone who hope not for our meeting in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on.
ހެޔޮކަމާއި، ثواب އަވަސްކޮށްދެއްވުމަށް މީސްތަކުން އެދޭހިނދު، އެކަން އަވަސްކޮށްދެއްވާ ފަދައިން، اللَّه އެއުރެންނަށް ނުބަޔާއި، عقاب އަވަސްކޮށްދެއްވާނަމަ، އެއުރެންގެ أجل ޖެހި، އެހިނދު އެހިނދަށް ނިމިއްޖައީހެވެ. ފަހެ، (قيامة ދުވަހުން) ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެއާ ބައްދަލުވާން ނޭދޭމީހުން އެއުރެންގެ ފުރެދުމުގައި، ދެފުށު އެޅިއެޅިތިބޭ حال، އެއުރެން ދޫކޮށްލައްވައި، ބައިތިއްބަވާހުށީމެވެ.

and among those around you of the wandering arabs there are hypocrites, and among the townspeople of al-madinah (there are some who) persist in hypocrisy whom thou (o muhammad) knowest not. we, we know them, and we shall chastise them twice; then they will be relegated to a painful doom.
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ވަށައިގެންވާ أعرابى ންގެ ތެރެއިން منافق ންގެ ބަޔަކުވެސްވެއެވެ. އަދި منافق ކަމުގެ މައްޗަށް ހޭނިފައިތިބި ބަޔަކު المدينة ގެ أهل ވެރިންގެ ތެރެއިންވެއެވެ. ކަލޭގެފާނަކަށް އެއުރެން އެނގިވަޑައެއް ނުގަނެތެވެ. ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެން ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވަމެވެ. ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް ދެފަހަރު عذاب ދެއްވާހުށީމެވެ. ދެން ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ عذاب އެއްގެ ތެރެއަށް އެއުރެން ރައްދުކުރައްވާ ހުށްޓެވެ.
