if allah had expanded his provision to his worshipers, they would become tyrannical in the earth, but he sends down to them what he will in due measure; he is aware and sees his worshipers.
اور اگر الله اپنے بندوں کی روزی کشادہ کر دے تو زمین پر سرکشی کرنے لگیں لیکن وہ ایک اندازے سے اتارتا ہے جتنی چاہتا ہے بے شک وہ اپنے بندوں سے خوب خبردار دیکھنے والا ہے

and we have sent down to you (o muhammad saw) the book (this quran) in truth, confirming the scripture that came before it and mohayminan (trustworthy in highness and a witness) over it (old scriptures). so judge between them by what allah has revealed, and follow not their vain desires, diverging away from the truth that has come to you. to each among you, we have prescribed a law and a clear way. if allah willed, he would have made you one nation, but that (he) may test you in what he has given you; so strive as in a race in good deeds. the return of you (all) is to allah; then he will inform you about that in which you used to differ.
اور (اے رسول(ص)) ہم نے آپ کی طرف حق کے ساتھ کتاب نازل کی ہے۔ جو تصدیق کرتی ہے۔ ان (آسمانی) کتابوں کی جو اس سے پہلے موجود ہیں اور ان کی محافظ و نگہبان ہے۔ لہٰذا آپ ان کے درمیان وہی فیصلہ کریں جو اللہ نے نازل کیا ہے اور اس حق سے منہ موڑ کر جو آپ کے پاس آگیا ہے۔ ان کی خواہشات کی پیروی نہ کریں، ہم نے تم میں سے ہر ایک کے لئے ایک شریعت اور ایک راہ مقرر کی ہے اور اگر خدا (زبردستی) چاہتا، تو تم سب کو ایک ہی (شریعت) کی ایک ہی امت بنا دیتا۔ مگر وہ چاہتا ہے کہ تمہیں آزمائے (ان احکام میں) جو (مختلف اوقات میں) تمہیں دیتا رہا ہے بس تم نیکیوں میں ایک دوسرے سے بڑھنے کی کوشش کرو۔ تم سب کی بازگشت اللہ ہی کی طرف ہے، پھر وہ تمہیں آگاہ کرے گا۔ ان باتوں سے جن میں تم اختلاف کرتے ہو۔
