allah said: o iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which have created with both my hands?
(Аллах) сказал: "О Иблис! Что помешало тебе ниц упасть пред тем, Что сотворили Мои собственные Руки?

and naught preventeth their expendings being accepted except that they have disbelieved in allah and his apostle, and they perform not prayer except as sluggards and expend not except as those averse.
И мешает принять их расходы только то, что они не веровали в Аллаха и Его посланника, что они приходят на молитву только ленивыми и расходуют только по принуждению.

and naught preventeth mankind from believing when the guidance hath come unto them, and from asking foregiveness of their lord, but that there may come unto them the dispensation of the ancients, or that the torment may come unto them face to face.
[поэтому] только их стремление к участи прежних народов и к немедленной каре [Аллаха] помешало людям (т. е. мекканским многобожникам) уверовать и просить прощения у Господа своего [даже] после того, как к ним пришло [Наше] руководство (т. е. Коран).

recite thou that which hath been revealed unto thee of the book and establish thou the prayer; verily prayer preventeth man from indecency and that which is disreputable: and surely the remembrance of allah is the greatest.
И поэтому последующее повеление совершать намаз является одним из примеров включения частного в общее и свидетельствует о важности и превосходстве намаза. Этот обряд поклонения приносит человеку огромную пользу, и поэтому Всевышний Аллах возвестил о том, что намаз оберегает человека от мерзких поступков и предосудительного.

and naught preventeth that their contributions should be accepted from them save that they have disbelieved in allah and in his messenger, and they come not to worship save as idlers, and pay not (their contribution) save reluctantly.
И мешает принять их расходы только то, что они не веровали в Аллаха и Его посланника, что они приходят на молитву только ленивыми и расходуют только по принуждению.
