and from the days of john the baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

and jesus, which is called justus, who are of the circumcision. these only are my fellowworkers unto the kingdom of god, which have been a comfort unto me.
ܘܝܫܘܥ ܗܘ ܕܡܬܩܪܐ ܝܘܤܛܘܤ ܗܠܝܢ ܕܐܝܬܝܗܘܢ ܡܢ ܓܙܘܪܬܐ ܘܗܢܘܢ ܒܠܚܘܕ ܥܕܪܘܢܝ ܒܡܠܟܘܬܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܘܗܢܘܢ ܗܘܘ ܠܝ ܒܘܝܐܐ

and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. amen.

and jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:
ܝܫܘܥ ܕܝܢ ܝܕܥ ܡܚܫܒܬܗܘܢ ܘܐܡܪ ܠܗܘܢ ܟܠ ܡܠܟܘ ܕܬܬܦܠܓ ܥܠ ܢܦܫܗ ܬܚܪܒ ܘܟܠ ܒܝ ܘܡܕܝܢܐ ܕܢܬܦܠܓ ܥܠ ܢܦܫܗ ܠܐ ܢܩܘܡ

and he said unto them, when ye pray, say, our father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. thy kingdom come. thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
