ܡܢ ܠܥܠ ܐܡܪ ܕܕܒܚܐ ܘܩܘܪܒܢܐ ܘܝܩܕܐ ܫܠܡܐ ܕܚܠܦ ܚܛܗܐ ܠܐ ܨܒܝܬ ܗܢܘܢ ܕܡܬܩܪܒܝܢ ܗܘܘ ܒܢܡܘܤܐ

by faith abel offered unto god a more excellent sacrifice than cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, god testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

as touching the gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication.
