Ва маъишати шумо ва касонеро, ки шумо рӯзидеҳашон нестед, дар он ҷо қарор додем.

Гуфт: «Аз ин мақом поён рав! Туро чӣ расад, ки дар он гарданкашӣ кунӣ?

say thou: my lord careth not for you were it not for your prayer. whereas ye have even belied, so presently this denial shall come as the cleaving punishment.
Бигӯ: «Агар дуъо (ву илтиҷо)-и шумо намебуд, Парвардигори ман ба шумо қадрдоние намекард. Дар ҳақиқат шумо дурӯғ кардаед ва ҷазоатон ҳамроҳатон хоҳад буд».

allah intendeth for you ease, and intendeth not for you hardship; so ye shall fulfil the number and shall magnify allah for his having guided you, and haply ye may give thanks.
Худо барои шумо хостгори осонӣ аст на сахтӣ ва то он шуморо комил созед. Ва Худоро ба он сабаб, ки роҳнамоиятон кардааст, ба бузургӣ ёд кунед ва шукр гӯед!

Эй касоне, ки имон овардаед, дӯсти ҳамрозе ғайр аз ҳамдинони худ магиред, ки дигарон аз ҳеҷ фасоде дар хаққи шумо кӯтоҳӣ намекунанд ва хостори ранҷу машаққати шумоянд. Ва душманӣ аз гуфторашон ошкор аст ва он кина, ки дар дил доранд, бештар аст аз он чӣ ба забон меоваранд.

say: my lord would not care for you were it not for your prayer; but you have indeed rejected (the truth), so that which shall cleave shall come.
Бигӯ: «Агар дуъо (ву илтиҷо)-и шумо намебуд, Парвардигори ман ба шумо қадрдоние намекард. Дар ҳақиқат шумо дурӯғ кардаед ва ҷазоатон ҳамроҳатон хоҳад буд».
