(இஸ்லாமிய) மார்க்கத்தில் (எவ்வகையான) நிர்ப்பந்தமுமில்லை. வழிகேட்டிலிருந்து நேர்வழி முற்றிலும் (பிரிந்து) தெளிவாகிவிட்டது. ஆகையால், எவர் வழி கெடுப்பவற்றை நிராகரித்து அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது நம்பிக்கை கொள்கிறாரோ அவர் அறுந்து விடாத கெட்டியான கயிற்றை நிச்சயமாகப் பற்றிக் கொண்டார் - அல்லாஹ்(யாவற்றையும்) செவியுறுவோனாகவும் நன்கறிவோனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

there is no compulsion in matter of faith. distinct is the way of guidance now from error. he who turns away from the forces of evil and believes in god, will surely hold fast to a handle that is strong and unbreakable, for god hears all and knows everything.
(இஸ்லாமிய) மார்க்கத்தில் (எவ்வகையான) நிர்ப்பந்தமுமில்லை. வழிகேட்டிலிருந்து நேர்வழி முற்றிலும் (பிரிந்து) தெளிவாகிவிட்டது. ஆகையால், எவர் வழி கெடுப்பவற்றை நிராகரித்து அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது நம்பிக்கை கொள்கிறாரோ அவர் அறுந்து விடாத கெட்டியான கயிற்றை நிச்சயமாகப் பற்றிக் கொண்டார் - அல்லாஹ்(யாவற்றையும்) செவியுறுவோனாகவும் நன்கறிவோனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

and let those who cannot find a match keep chaste till allah give them independence by his grace. and such of your slaves as seek a writing (of emancipation), write it for them if ye are aware of aught of good in them, and bestow upon them of the wealth of allah which he hath bestowed upon you. force not your slave-girls to whoredom that ye may seek enjoyment of the life of the world, if they would preserve their chastity. and if one force them, then (unto them), after their compulsion, lo! allah will be forgiving, merciful.
விவாகம் செய்வதற்கு (உரிய வசதிகளைப்) பெற்றுக் கொள்ளாதவர்கள் - அவர்களை அல்லாஹ் தம் நல்லருளினால் சீமான்களாக்கும் வரை - அவர்கள் ஒழுக்கம் பேணட்டும். இன்னும் உங்கல் வலக்கரங்கள் சொந்தமாக்கிக் கொண்டவர்களில் (அடிமைகளில் உரிய தொகையைக் கொடுத்தோ அல்லது முறையாக சம்பாதித்துத் தருவதாக வாக்குக் கொடுத்தோ) எவரேனும் (சுதந்திரமாவதற்கான) உரிமைப் பத்திரம் விரும்பினால் - அதற்குரிய நன்மையான தகுதியை நீங்கள் அவ்வடிமையிடம் (இருப்பது பற்றி) அறிவீர்களாயின், அவர்களுக்கு உரிமை பத்திரம் எழுதிக் கொடுங்கள். இன்னும் அதற்கான பொருளை அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு தந்திருக்கும் பொருளிலிருந்து அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுப்பீர்களாக மேலும், தங்கள் கற்பைப் பேணிக் கொள்ள விரும்பும் உங்கள் அடிமைப் பெண்களை - அற்பமான உலக வாழ்க்கை வசதிகளைத் தேடியவர்களாக - விபசாரத்திற்கு (அவர்களை) நிர்ப்பந்திக்காதீர்கள்; அப்படி எவனேனும் அந்தப் பெண்களை நிர்ப்பந்தித்தால் அவர்கள் நிர்ப்பந்திக்கப்பட்ட பின் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மன்னிப்பவனாகவும் கிருபையுடையவனாகவும் இருக்கிறான்.
