and if ye seek allah and his apostle and the abode of the hereafter, then verily allah hath gotten ready for the well-doers among you a mighty hire.
"ஆனால், நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வையும், அவன் தூதரையும், மறுமையின் வீட்டையும் விரும்புவீர்களானால், அப்பொழுது உங்களில் நன்மையாளர்களுக்காக அல்லாஹ் மகத்தான நற்கூலி நிச்சயமாக சித்தம் செய்திருக்கிறான்" என்றும் கூறுவீராக!

and assuredly we have bedecked the nearest heaven with lamps, and we have made them missiles for satans: and for them we have gotten ready the torment of the blaze.
அன்றியும், திட்டமாக நாமே (பூமிக்குச்) சமீபமாக இருக்கும் வானத்தை (நட்சத்திர) விளக்குகளைக் கொண்டு அலங்கரித்திருக்கின்றோம்; இன்னும், அவற்றை ஷைத்தான்களை (வெருட்டும்) எறி கற்களாகவும் நாம் ஆக்கினோம்; அன்றியும் அவர்களுக்காகக் கொழுந்து விட்டெரியும் (நரக) நெருப்பின் வேதனையைச் சித்தம் செய்திருக்கின்றோம்.

and also because of their taking usury whereas they were prohibited therefrom, and also because of their devouring the riches of men unlawfully. and for the infidels among them we have gotten ready a torment afflictive.
வட்டி வாங்குவது அவர்களுக்குத் தடை செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தும், அவர்கள் அதை வாங்கி வந்ததன் (காரணமாகவும்,) தவறான முறையில் அவர்கள் மக்களின் சொத்துகளை விழுங்கிக் கொண்டிருந்ததன் (காரணமாகவும், இவ்வாறு தண்டனை வழங்கினோம்), இவர்களில் காஃபிரானோருக்கு (மறுமையில்) நோவினை செய்யும் வேதனையையும் நாம் சித்தப்படுத்தியுள்ளோம்.

allah hath gotten ready for them a grievous torment; so fear allah, o men of understanding! those who have believed. surely he hath sent down unto you an admonition.
அல்லாஹ் (அவர்களுக்குக்) கடினமான வேதனையை (மறுமையில்) சித்தம் செய்திருக்கின்றான், ஆகவே, ஈமான் கொண்டுள்ள அறிவுடையோரே! அல்லாஹ்வை நீங்கள் அஞ்சி நடந்து கொள்ளுங்கள் - திட்டமாக அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு நினைவுறுத்தும் இவ்வுபதேசத்தை இறக்கி வைத்திருக்கின்றான்.

and the people of nuh! when they belied the apostles we drowned them, and made them a sign unto mankind. and we have gotten ready unto the wrong-doers a torment afflictive,
இன்னும்; நூஹின் சமூத்தவர் அவர்கள் (நம்) தூதர்களைப் பொய்யாக்கிய போது, நாம் அவர்களை மூழ்கடித்தோம்; அவர்களை மனிதர்களுக்கு ஓர் அத்தாட்சியாகவும் ஆக்கிவைத்தோம்; மேலும் அநியாயக் காரர்களுக்கு நோவினை செய்யும் வேதனையை நாம் சித்தப்படுத்தி இருக்கிறோம்.

and if only they had acted according to the taurat (torah), the injeel (gospel), and what has (now) been sent down to them from their lord (the quran), they would surely have gotten provision from above them and from underneath their feet. there are from among them people who are on the right course (i.e. they act on the revelation and believe in prophet muhammad saw like 'abdullah bin salam), but many of them do evil deeds.
இன்னும்; அவர்கள் தவ்ராத்தையும், இன்ஜீலையும், இன்னும் தம் இறைவனிடத்திலிருந்து தங்களுக்கு இறக்கப்பட்டதையும், நிலைநாட்டியிருந்தால் அவர்கள் மேலே - (வானத்தில்) இருந்தும், தம் பாதங்களுக்கு அடியில் (பூமியில்) இருந்தும் (இன்பத்தைப்) புசித்திருப்பார்கள்; அவர்களில் சிலர்(தாம்) நேர்வழியுள்ள சமுதாயத்தினராய் இருக்கின்றனர், அவர்களில் பெரும்பாலோர் செய்யும் காரியங்கள் மிகக் கெட்டவையேயாகும்.
