எவர் தம் இறைவனின் கட்டளைகளை ஏற்றுக் கொள்கிறார்களோ, அவர்களுக்கு (அது) அழகிய நன்மையாகும்; இன்னும் எவர் அவனது கட்டளைகளை ஏற்றுக் கொள்ள வில்லையோ, அவர்களுக்கு பூமியிலுள்ள பொருள்கள் யாவும் சொந்தமாக இருந்து, அத்துடன் அதைப்போன்ற (இன்னொரு) பாகவும் இருந்து (மறுமையின் வேதனையிலிருந்து தப்பித்துக்கொள்ள) அவற்றையெல்லாம் மீட்டுப் பொருளாகக் கொடுத்துவிடவே விரும்புவார்கள்; (ஆனால் இது பலனை அளிக்காது) அவர்களுக்குக் கேள்வி கணக்கு மிகவும் கடினமாக இருக்கும்; அவர்கள் தங்கும் இடம் நரகமேயாகும்; அது மிகவும் கெட்ட புகலிட(மும் ஆகு)ம்.

that through this promise allah may expiate from them the worst of that which they may have worked, and may recompense them their hire for the best of that which they have been working.
அவர்கள் செய்தவற்றில் மிகத் தீயவற்றையும் அவர்களை விட்டும் அல்லாஹ் விலக்கி, அவர்களுடைய (நற்காரியங்களுக்குரிய) கூலியை அவர்கள் செய்து கொண்டிருந்ததை விட மிக்க அழகியதைக் கொண்டு அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுப்பான்.

எவர் மறுமையின் விளைச்சலை விரும்புகிறாரோ அவருடைய விளைச்சலை நாம் அவருக்காக அதிகப்படுத்துவோம்; எவர் இவ்வுலகின் விளைச்சலை மட்டும் விரும்புகிறாரோ, அவருக்கு நாம் அதிலிருந்து ஓரளவு கொடுக்கிறோம் - எனினும் அவருக்கு மறுமையில் யாதொரு பங்கும் இல்லை.

verily those who have believed and those who have emigrated and have striven hard in the way of allah, all these shall hope for the mercy of allah, and allah is forgiving, merciful.
நம்பிக்கை கொண்டோரும், (காஃபிர்களின் கொடுமைகளால் நாட்டை விட்டு) துறந்தவர்களும், அல்லாஹ்வின் பாதையில் அறப்போர் செய்தோரும் அல்லாஹ்வின் (கருணையை) - ரஹ்மத்தை - நிச்சயமாக எதிர்பார்க்கிறார்கள்;. மேலும், அல்லாஹ் மிகவும் மன்னிப்போனாகவும், பேரன்புடையோனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.
