(நபியே!) இது (நீர் அறியாத) மறைவான செய்திகளில் உள்ளதாகும்; இதனை நாம் உமக்கு வஹீ மூலம் அறிவித்தோம்; அவர்கள் (கூடிச்) சதி செய்து நம் திட்டத்தில் அவர்கள் ஒன்று சேர்ந்த பொழுது நீர் அவர்களுடன் இருக்கவில்லை.

he said: o my people! not with me is folly, but i am an apostle from the lord of the worlds.
அதற்கு அவர்? "என் சமூகத்தாரே! எந்த மடமையும் என்னிடம் இல்லை - மாறாக, அகிலங்களின் இறைவனாகிய - (அல்லாஹ்வின்) தூதன் ஆவேன்" என்று கூறினார்.

he will say: "dispute not with each other in my presence: i had already in advance sent you warning.
"என் முன்னிலையில் நீங்கள் வாக்குவாதம் செய்யாதீர்கள்; (இதைப்பற்றி என் அச்சுறுத்தலை முன்னரே விடுத்திருக்கிறேன்" என்று (அல்லாஹ்) கூறுவான்.

and when their eyes shall be turned towards the inmates of the fire, they shall say: our lord! place us not with the unjust
அவர்களுடைய பார்வைகள் நரகவாசிகளின் பக்கம் திருப்பப்பட்டால், அவர்கள் "எங்கள் இறைவனே! எங்களை (இந்த) அக்கரமக்காரர்களுடனே ஆக்கி விடாதே" என்று கூறுவார்கள்.

musa said: if i ask thee regarding aught after this, company not with me; surely there hath reached to thee from my side an excuse.
இதன் பின்னர் நான் எந்த விஷயத்தைப் பற்றியாவது உங்களிடம் கேட்பேனாயின் நீங்கள் உங்கள் தோழனாக வைத்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டாம் - நிச்சயமாக நீங்கள் என்னிடமிருந்து தக்க மன்னிப்புக் கோருதலைப் பெற்றுக் கொண்டீர்கள்" என்று கூறினார்.

and when their eyes are turned toward the dwellers of the fire, they say: our lord! place us not with the wrong-doing folk.
அவர்களுடைய பார்வைகள் நரகவாசிகளின் பக்கம் திருப்பப்பட்டால், அவர்கள் "எங்கள் இறைவனே! எங்களை (இந்த) அக்கரமக்காரர்களுடனே ஆக்கி விடாதே" என்று கூறுவார்கள்.

[allah] said, o iblees, what is [the matter] with you that you are not with those who prostrate?"
"இப்லீஸே! சிரம் பணிந்தவர்களுடனே நீயும் சேராமல் (விலகி) இருந்ததற்குக் காரணம் என்ன?" என்று (இறைவன்) கேட்டான்.

and call not with allah any other god; there is no god but he, every thing is perishable but he; his is the judgment, and to him you shall be brought back.
அல்லாஹ்வுடன் வேறு எந்த நாயனையும் அழைக்காதீர்; அவனைத்தவிர வேறு நாயன் இல்லை, அவனைத் தவிர எல்லாப் பொருட்களும் அழிந்து விடுபவையேயாகும்; அவனுக்கே எல்லா அதிகாரமும் உரியது இன்னும் அவனிடமே நீங்கள் (யாவரும்) திரும்பக் கொண்டு வரப்படுவீர்கள்.

"then why are not gold bracelets bestowed on him, or (why) come (not) with him angels accompanying him in procession?"
"(என்னைவிட இவர் மேலாயிருப்பின்) ஏன் இவருக்கு பொன்னாலாகிய கங்கணங்கள் அணிவிக்கப்படவில்லை, அல்லது அவருடன் மலக்குகள் கூட்டமாக வர வேண்டாமா?"
