if you invoke them they will not hear your invocation, and even if they heard they cannot respond to you, and on the day of resurrection they will forswear your polytheism, and none can inform you like the one who is all-aware.
நீங்கள் அவர்களைப் பிரார்த்தி(த்து அழை)த்தாலும், அவர்கள் உங்கள் பிரார்த்தனையை (அழைப்பை)ச் செவியோற்கார்; செவியேற்றாலும் கூட உங்களுக்கு பதில் அளிக்கமாட்டார்கள்; கியாம நாளில் நீங்கள் இணைவைத்ததையும் அவர்கள் நிராகரித்து விடுவார்கள்; யாவற்றையும் நன்கு அறிபவனைப் போன்று (அவர்கள்) எவருமே உங்களுக்கு அறிவிக்க மாட்டார்கள்.

"o my son! aqim-is-salat (perform as-salat), enjoin (people) for al-ma'ruf (islamic monotheism and all that is good), and forbid (people) from al-munkar (i.e. disbelief in the oneness of allah, polytheism of all kinds and all that is evil and bad), and bear with patience whatever befall you. verily! these are some of the important commandments ordered by allah with no exemption.
