በተጠበቀ መርጊያ ውስጥም ( በማሕፀን ) አደረግነው ፡ ፡

" enter it in peace . this is the day of life abiding . "

for any one who desires to bear it in mind ,
የሻም ሰው ( ቁርኣኑን ) ያስታውሰዋል ፡ ፡

grievously odious is it in the sight of allah that ye say that which ye do not .
የማትሠሩን ነገር መናገራችሁ አላህ ዘንድ መጠላቱ ተለቀ ፡ ፡

and the moon : we have disposed it in phases , until it returns like the old twig .
ጨረቃንም የመስፈሪያዎች ባለቤት ሲኾን እንደ ዘንባባ አሮጌ ቀንዘል እስኪኾን ድረስ ( መኼዱን ) ለካነው ፡ ፡

and in the end he will be repaid for it in full ;
ከዚያም ሙሉውን ምንዳ ይመነዳዋል ፡ ፡

and we created for them the like of it , in which they ride .
ከመሰሉም በእርሱ የሚሳፈሩበትን ለእነርሱ ፈጠርንላቸው ፡ ፡

and verily ye used to wish for death before ye met it ( in the field ) . now ye have seen it with your eyes !
( በጦርነት ላይ ) መሞትንም ሳታገኙት በፊት በርግጥ የምትመኙት ነበራችሁ ፡ ፡ እናንተም የምትመለከቱ ስትኾኑ በርግጥ አያችሁት ( ታዲያ ለምን ሸሻችሁ )

and we sent down out of heaven water in measure and lodged it in the earth ; and we are able to take it away .
ከሰማይም ውሃን በልክ አወረድን ፡ ፡ በምድርም ውስጥ አስቀመጥነው ፡ ፡ እኛም እርሱን በማስወገድ ላይ በእርግጥ ቻዮች ነን ፡ ፡

then took they the body of jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the jews is to bury.
የኢየሱስንም ሥጋ ወስደው እንደ አይሁድ አገናነዝ ልማድ ከሽቱ ጋር በተልባ እግር ልብስ ከፈኑት።

he hides from the people because of the bad news given to him . shall he keep it in humiliation , or bury it in the dust ?
በእርሱ ከተበሰረበት ነገር መጥፎነት በውርደት ላይ ኾኖ ይያዘውን ወይስ በዐፈር ውስጥ ይደብቀውን ( በማለት እያምታታ ) ከሰዎች ይደበቃል ፡ ፡ ንቁ ! የሚፈርዱት ( ፍርድ ) ምንኛ ከፋ !

and we have left a vestige of it in that city as a clear sign for a people who use their reason .
በእርግጥም ለሚያስቡ ሰዎች ከእርሷ ግልጽ ምልክትን ተውን ( አስቀረን ) ፡ ፡

if you do a thing openly or do it in secret , then surely allah is cognizant of all things .
ማንኛውንም ነገር ብትገልጹ ወይም ብትደብቁት ( በርሱ ይመነዳችኋል ) ፡ ፡ አላህ ነገሩን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነውና ፡ ፡

a mosque founded upon piety from the first day is worthier of your standing in it . in it are men who love to be purified .
በእርሱ ውስጥ በፍጹም አትስገድ ፡ ፡ ከመጀመሪያ ቀን ይዞ በአላህ ፍራቻ ላይ የተመሠረተው ( የቁባ ) መስጊድ በውስጡ ልትሰግድበት ይልቅ የተገባው ነው ፡ ፡ በእሱ ውስጥ መጥራራትን የሚወዱ ወንዶች አልሉ ፡ ፡ አላህም ተጥራሪዎችን ይወዳል ፡ ፡

had we wished to find a pastime , we would surely have found it in that which is with us , if such had been our will .
መጫወቻን ( ሚስትና ልጅን ) ልንይዝ በሻን ኖሮ ከእኛ ዘንድ በያዝነው ነበር ፡ ፡ ( ግን ) ሠሪዎች አይደለንም ፡ ፡
