allah does not take you to task for oaths which are made unintentionally but he does take you to task for oaths which you ratify; so the redemption of such oaths is to provide food to ten needy persons equal to the average of what you feed your family, or to clothe them, or to free one slave; and for one who has no means, is the fasting for three days; this is the redemption of your oaths when you have sworn; and fulfil your oaths; this is how allah explains his verses to you, so that you may be thankful.
خوا لێتان ناگرێت کاتێک به‌ساده‌یی سوێند به‌ده‌متاندا دێت و (له‌سه‌ری ڕاهاتوون) به‌ڵکو له‌و سوێندانه‌تان ده‌پرسێته‌وه که بیرو هۆشتان لای هه‌بووه و بۆ مه‌به‌ستێک وتووتانه‌، جا که‌فاره‌تی ئه‌و جۆره سوێندانه‌: نان و خۆراک دانه به ده که‌سی هه‌ژار به‌شێوه‌یه‌کی مامناوه‌ندی که بۆ خاو و خێزانتان سه‌رفی ده‌که‌ن، یاخود پۆشته کردنه‌وه‌یان یاخود ئازاد کردنی به‌نده‌یه‌ک (ئه‌گه‌ر بووی) ئه‌وه‌ی (توانای ئه‌و شتانه‌ی نه‌بوو) با سێ ڕۆژ به‌رۆژوو بێت، ئه‌وه که‌فاره‌تی سوێنده‌کانتانه کاتێک سوێند ده‌خۆن و نایبه‌نه سه‌ر، جا تاده‌توانن سوێنده‌کانتان بپارێزن و مه‌یانشکێنن، ئا به‌و شێوه‌یه خوا ئایه‌ته‌کانی خۆیتان بۆ ڕوون ده‌کاته‌وه بۆ ئه‌وه‌ی سوپاسگوزاری بکه‌ن.
