and certainly you desired death before you met it, so indeed you have seen it and you look (at it)

remember that (at that very time, when you were committing this gross iniquity) we gave moses the book and the criterion of right and wrong so that you might be guided aright.

இன்னும் (இதையும் நினைவு கூறுங்கள்;)நீங்கள், 'மூஸாவே! நாங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வை கண்கூடாக காணும் வரை உம்மீது நம்பிக்கை கொள்ள மாட்டோம்" என்று கூறினீர்கள்; அப்பொழுது, நீங்கள் பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும்போதே உங்களை ஓர் இடி முழக்கம் பற்றிக்கொண்டது.

and when you look at them, their bodies please you; and when they speak, you listen to their words. they are as blocks of wood propped up. they think that every cry is against them. they are the enemies, so beware of them. may allah curse them! how are they denying (or deviating from) the right path.
இவர்களை நீர் பார்த்தால், இவர்களுடைய உடல் (அமைப்பு)கள் உம்மை ஆச்சரியப்படுத்தும்; அன்றியும் இவர்கள் பேசினால், இவர்களுடைய பேச்சை நீர் (கவனித்துக்) கேட்பீர்; எனினும் இவர்கள் (நேர்மையானவர்கள் அல்லர், சுவரில்) சாய்த்து வைக்கப்பட்ட மரங்கள் போன்று இருக்கின்றனர், ஒவ்வொரு சப்தமும் தங்களுக்கு எதிரானது என்று எண்ணுகிறார்கள், இவர்கள்தாம் (உம்) பகைவர்கள், ஆகவே இவர்களிடம் நீர் எச்சரிக்கையாக இருப்பீராக, அல்லாஹ் இவர்களை அழித்து விடுவான், இவர்கள் (சத்தியத்திலிருந்து) எங்கு செல்கின்றனர்?
