5-o-desosaminylerythronolidderivate und die pharmazeutisch annehmbaren säureadditionssalze davon nach anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß y eine gruppe, dargestellt durch die formel: (worin r ein wasserstoffatom, eine hydroxylgruppe, ein halogenatom oder eine c -c -alkylgruppe bedeutet und n 1 bedeutet), oder ein sauerstoffatom bedeutet; r eine substituierte phenylgruppe mit 1 bis 5 substituenten, ausgewählt aus halogenatomen, nitrogruppen, aminogruppen, c -c -alkylgruppen, substituierten c -c -alkylgruppen mit einem oder mehreren halogenatom(en) als substituent(en), c -c -alkylaminogruppen, c -c -acylaminogruppen und c -c -alkoxygruppen, eine aminothiazolylgruppe, eine pyridylgruppe oder eine substituierte phenyloxygruppe mit einem bzw. einer oder mehreren halogenatom(en) oder nitrogruppe(n) als substituent(en) bedeutet; a eine gruppe, dargestellt durch die formel (i) oder die formel (ii), bedeutet; r' ein wasserstoffatom oder eine c -c -alkylgruppe bedeutet; r" ein wasserstoffatom, eine c -c -alkoxycarbonylgruppe, unterbrochen durch mindestens ein sauerstoffatom in ihrer alkylgruppierung, eine c -c -acylgruppe oder eine pyridylcarbonylgruppe bedeutet.
