ފަހެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް ވައި خدمة ތެރިކޮށްދެއްވީމެވެ. އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ أمر ފުޅަށް، އެކަލޭގެފާނު އެދިވަޑައިގަތް ކޮންމެތަނަކަށް މައިތިރިކަމާއެކު، އެވައި ހިނގައިދެއެވެ.

o ye who believe! shall direct you to a merchandise that will deliver you from a torment afflictive?
އޭ إيمان ވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! ވޭންދެނިވި عذاب އަކުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން މިންޖުކޮށްދޭނޭ ވިޔަފާރިއެއް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ދައްކަވަން ހެއްޔެވެ؟

o you who believe! shall i lead you to a merchandise which may deliver you from a painful chastisement?
އޭ إيمان ވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! ވޭންދެނިވި عذاب އަކުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން މިންޖުކޮށްދޭނޭ ވިޔަފާރިއެއް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ދައްކަވަން ހެއްޔެވެ؟

as are not diverted by trade and merchandise from remembering him and from establishing salat and paying zakat, for they fear the day when the hearts will be overturned and the eyes will become petrified.
އެއީ ފިރިހެނުންތަކެކެވެ. (އެބަހީ: تسبيح ކިޔައި ނަމާދުކޮށް އުޅެނީ ފިރިހެނުންތަކެކެވެ.) ވިޔަފާރިއެއް ނުވަތަ އެހެންއެއްވެސް ވިއްކުމެއް اللَّه ގެ މަތިން ހަނދުމަކުޅައުމުންނާއި، ނަމާދު قائم ކުޅައުމުންނާއި، زكاة ދިނުމުން، އެއުރެން مشغول ކޮށް ދުރުކޮށެއް ނުލަތެވެ. އެދުވަހެއްގައި، ހިތްތަކާއި، ލޯތައް އެފުށްމިފުށަށް އެނބުރިއުޅޭ ދުވަހަށް، އެއުރެން ބިރުވެތިވެތެވެ.

god increases or decreases the fortunes of whosoever he will, and they rejoice in the life of this world. yet the life of this world is nothing but a merchandise as compared to the life of the next.
اللَّه، އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް رزق ތަނަވަސްކޮށްދެއްވައި، އަދި (އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް رزق) ދަތިކުރައްވަތެވެ. އަދި ދުނިޔޭގެ ދިރިއުޅުމާމެދު އެއުރެން އުފާކުރޫއެވެ. އަދި ދުނިޔޭގެ ދިރިއުޅުމަކީ، آخرة ގެ ދިރިއުޅުމާ އަޅައިބަލާއިރު، ވަގުތީ އުފަލެއްކަމުގައި މެނުވީ ނުވެތެވެ.

but when they see merchandise or diversion they scatter off to it, and they leave thee standing. say: 'what is with god is better than diversion and merchandise.
އެއުރެންނަށް ވިޔަފާރިޔެއް ނުވަތަ ކުޅިވަރެއް ފެނިއްޖެނަމަ، ކަލޭގެފާނު ކޮޅަށް ހުންނެވުމަށް ދޫކޮށްލައި، އެއުރެން އެކަންތަކާ ދިމާޔަށް ދުވެދެއެވެ. ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! ކުޅިވަރާއި، ވިޔަފާރިއަށްވުރެ، اللَّه ގެ حضرة ގައިވާ ދަރުމަ، ހެޔޮކަން ބޮޑެވެ. އަދި اللَّه އީ، رزق ދެއްވާ، އެންމެ ހެޔޮ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

and when they presented themselves before him they said: 'o mighty prince, we and our people are afflicted with distress. we have brought but little merchandise.
ފަހެ، އެއުރެން އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަރިހަށް ވަންހިނދު، އެއުރެން ދެންނެވޫއެވެ. އޭ العزيز އެވެ! ތިމަންމެންނަށާއި، ތިމަންމެންގެ أهل ވެރިންނަށް ތަދުމަޑުކަން ޖެހިއްޖެއެވެ. ތިމަންމެންއައީ، ދެރަ މުދަލަކާއިގެންނެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިމަންމެންނަށް ފުރިހަމަގޮތުގައި މިނެދެއްވައި، ތިމަންމެންނަށް صدقات ކުރައްވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، صدقات ކުރާ މީހުންނަށް اللَّه (ހެޔޮ) ޖަޒާދެއްވާނެތެވެ.

he said to his pages, 'put their merchandise in their saddlebags; haply they will recognize it when they have turned to their people; haply they will return.
އެކަލޭގެފާނު ގެންގުޅުއްވާ ކުދިންނަށް ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ. އެއުރެން (އަގަކަށް) ގެނައި މުދާ، އެއުރެންގެ ތަކެތީގެ ތެރެޔަށްލާށެވެ! (އެއީ) އެއުރެންގެ أهل ންގެ ގާތަށް އެނބުރިދާހިނދު، އެކަން އެއުރެންނަށް އެނގުމަށްޓަކައެވެ. (އަދި ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަރިހަށް) އެއުރެން އެނބުރި އާދޭތޯއެވެ.

by people, who can neither be diverted by merchandise nor bargaining from worshipping god, saying their prayers and paying religious tax. they do these things, for they are afraid of the day when all hearts and eyes will undergo terrible unrest and crisis.
އެއީ ފިރިހެނުންތަކެކެވެ. (އެބަހީ: تسبيح ކިޔައި ނަމާދުކޮށް އުޅެނީ ފިރިހެނުންތަކެކެވެ.) ވިޔަފާރިއެއް ނުވަތަ އެހެންއެއްވެސް ވިއްކުމެއް اللَّه ގެ މަތިން ހަނދުމަކުޅައުމުންނާއި، ނަމާދު قائم ކުޅައުމުންނާއި، زكاة ދިނުމުން، އެއުރެން مشغول ކޮށް ދުރުކޮށެއް ނުލަތެވެ. އެދުވަހެއްގައި، ހިތްތަކާއި، ލޯތައް އެފުށްމިފުށަށް އެނބުރިއުޅޭ ދުވަހަށް، އެއުރެން ބިރުވެތިވެތެވެ.

and [joseph] said to his servants, "put their merchandise into their saddlebags so they might recognize it when they have gone back to their people that perhaps they will [again] return."
އެކަލޭގެފާނު ގެންގުޅުއްވާ ކުދިންނަށް ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ. އެއުރެން (އަގަކަށް) ގެނައި މުދާ، އެއުރެންގެ ތަކެތީގެ ތެރެޔަށްލާށެވެ! (އެއީ) އެއުރެންގެ أهل ންގެ ގާތަށް އެނބުރިދާހިނދު، އެކަން އެއުރެންނަށް އެނގުމަށްޓަކައެވެ. (އަދި ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަރިހަށް) އެއުރެން އެނބުރި އާދޭތޯއެވެ.
